Wow, what a show! (Couldn't be there in person but a BIG thanks to all the scopers and mixlrs!)

BAD!
Eddie Vedder & Mumford & Sons joined on MotD
ONE with the "Do you hear me knocking, lord?" bit! <- I seriously love that and I sing it even when Bono doesn't!
Did The Little Things sound better, or is it growing on me?
Ended with I Will Follow! Such a great surprise :D

Also, it seemed like the band and the fans were more "in the groove" last night (but I wasn't actually there).

LOVED IT!

Little things did sound better ...The ending was still pretty abrupt, tho....But a great song !  Give it to me, I'll take it home, ahah!

Oh.... I think " Little things" resembles Walk On a little but it's way better than that one !!!  It actually also reminds me of a Jam U2 were doing on the rehearsals for *POP*mart....... And Mercy.  I think it can be even better....they're trying to figure its secrets out, the stuff you can't find out in the studio those little things that give you away on the road......

While it's not highly experimental, people are complaining already .......it has that something a good song has....Somekind of secret rhythm that hooks you to it.......it's way better than anything on SOI, certainly .....

For those of you who are crazy about it....I know I am !!!!

The more I hear this song, I swear it's a story told from two different perspectives. Loving it.

I'm not sure if this post belongs on this particular thread,  but if Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry are reading this, I wanted to say "Thank You". for the awesome show last night,  In fact, I'm still feeling magical energy from four handsome and talented men onstage.  Thanks again & see you in my dreams,  Illumination70☺

Logistically, the gig was a poor reflection of the band, Live Nation, and the venue.

The G.A. line was handled horribly, with security allowing new arrivals through the metal detectors at the same time as those who had queued for hours (or days).

Security said we would be reorganized once inside by the numbers we had been assigned, but that never happened. Instead, we were staged inside as a huge clump of people who surged forward when the inside door was open.

One of the "security" guys at the B-stage spent the duration of Mumford and Sons' set singing along, sneaking peeks at the band, and waving his arms for people to sing along but not stopping the potsmokers.

Very disappointing. I expected better.

Dudes, I'm pretty sure the issues with enter were NOT due to BC place procedures, but rather due to people NOT reading the dozen emails that went out about the credit card entry.

Actually the readers are glitchy and not all staff are trained to use them. I was near the front for Seattle and it was stressful for me and the poor tickets readers suddenly faced with this onslaught of people. I had to go to four different readers before I could find someone who could get my card to scan (and I have a relatively new card). I attend a lot of events at the stadium and while the credit card ticket is appealing, it is an objective fact that it is not as dependable as the printed bar codes used for most events that can be scanned more quickly and reliably. I wonder if they could have a system where you could pre-scan credit cards earlier in the day and pick up a bar code ticket to scan on entry (and then have plenty time to deal with any issues) and not have to deal with all that anxiety as people are pouring in.
