seeing it also, ask mary to post in forums or PM me, too many folks on that twitter thread to make sense of it

I’m here!! This is the exact interaction I had on the phone:

Update: I called 1-800-767-7160. I spoke to a lovely woman. It’s an internal issue with the U2 site. IF YOU RECENTLY RENEWED YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AND IT’S TELLING YOU THAT YOU’RE NOT VERIFIED, DO NOT RENEW AGAIN. However, please call this number so you do have a support ticket. They will ask for your email address so they can contact you when the issue has been resolved. Again, if you have already renewed prior to today, DO NOT RENEW AGAIN. They are working on it! Call the number to make sure you have your problem recorded, and they will let you know when it has been fixed! When it is fixed, you will be listed as verified. Make sure to call and BE PATIENT AND FRIENDLY!

the info from the main tour page::

The priority/"first in the line" is for U2.com verified subscribers...

I get that, what I meant is the ticket pre-sale code you get when pre-ordering the album, as it is described here http://www.u2.com/soe_eu

Do you only get a ticket pre-sale code if you follow this link and buy the album on this website (in my case, the universal music shop)?  Or can you buy it in another shop as well and still get the pre-sale code? (i.e. the u2.com shop to buy the bundle with the T-shirt. )

In the u2 shop you can buy the CD bundles etc... and get the pre-sale code that comes with it.

*Only trouble is I'm unable to click on 'check out' add or remove items or in fact buy anything. I take it the shop is down ATM. Couple of friends have the same problem so not just me.

okay that's the question as it says on u2.com  " PRE-ORDER U2'S SONGS OF EXPERIENCE VIA THIS OFFICIAL LINK BY 30TH NOVEMBER 2017, 23:59 GMT, FOR ACCESS TO A PRESALE AND BE IN WITH A CHANCE TO PURCHASE TICKETS FOR YET-TO-BE-ANNOUNCED EUROPEAN TOUR DATES IN A CITY NEAR YOU IN 2018, WHILE AVAILABILITY LASTS. " and this so called official link leads me to http://u2store.universal-music.de/

At this shop, the bundles are not available and everything is actually even 1 or 2€ more expensive. I managed to place an order at the universal store yesterday before I saw the available bundles on u2.com that I'd prefer..

I'm also still waiting on the download files of the 3 promised songs.

My concern is for venues (like Infinite Energy Arena in Atlanta) that use their own ticketing service and not ticketmaster... I hope they have programs in place to make pre-sale go smoothly. I know the venue web page has link to TM verified fan, but as this is new all around, I hope there are no glitches for non-TM venues...

There were several venues that were similar on the Joshua Tree tour and it all worked out.  As with the last tours, best thing to do will be to go through the presale link on U2.com when they start and all should be fine.
