Subscriber malaboo 10 Posted November 18, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 18, 2017 (edited) I tweeted to TM about getting a code but not getting the tickets I wanted and this was their response "unfortunately those were very high demand tickets and presales have a very limited inventory." BS...I know I was one of the 1st in innocence group and was only searching for one GA. They DID give me a code to use to access the Citi presale but of course there are no GA's there at this point. And U2.com told me they are only possibly assisting people who did not get a code. Edited November 18, 2017 by malaboo

Good luck. ? I'm laughing so hard right now. Seriously, I can't stop laughing at this.
Subscriber russpm 38 Posted November 18, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 18, 2017 The ticket process for Elevation Tour worked best via Propaganda.. As a member you got to buy tickets for 2 or 3 shows of your choice, all by snail mail but it worked perfect.. Popmart and earlier you could even ring Principle Management if you were struggling and they were very helpful. Larry's sister Cecilia helped me a few times, even getting me comp tickets for a gig in Oz. They really looked after the fans back then.
Subscriber Isas99 3 Posted November 19, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 19, 2017 I also remember Propaganda days. Got 3 floor seats to see them in the Popmart tour at the LA COLISEUM. Good times back then. I didn't sign up when they switched to online. Life got in the way. With the following tours at least for me I always got GAs for at least 1 show for each tour ( except 360 tour) via general sale. These last 2 tours are the total opposite. Having to spend money to be part of this site is no biggie for me because none of my peeps or family get my " U2 CRAZYNESS!" I know people get it here or why even bother with this pre-sale stress. I've been lucky to have the opportunity to get GAs after this fiasco ONLY thanks to the mods hard work on fans behalf! So keep faith and hopefully more fans will be helped as well!!! Subscriber lauretta1979 4 Posted November 19, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 19, 2017 I've bought more than once face-value tickets from real fans that couldn't attend the concert, these tickets made two people happy (or at least one very happy person and the other not disappointed). The answer is not the personal tickets, the answer is not to resell above face value, as others said. Simple, eh? No, ´cause ticketmaster is the first that allows this sistem. We're trapped in the matrix guys, it's useless to complain. 1

Well, at least we now know that the news has filtered up. I wonder what proportion of the U2.com membership had difficulty getting pre-sale tickets. Guy seems to be of the opinion that the system worked for most - it would be interesting to know whether or not his statement was realistic or optimistic. I wonder if there is any way of finding that information out... In any case, my continued wishes for good luck to everyone still trying to get tickets, and also a strong hope that the higher-ups in the U2.com hierarchy can make things right for everyone.
Subscriber rdz_u2 0 Posted November 19, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 19, 2017 I have been trying to use my code to get tickets but Ticketmaster doesn't allow me to. I am really getting frustrated because I payed $40 to re-new the membership but I can't even get into the system to purchase a ticket. Does anyone know what to do or how to help me?
