U2.com 2018 Subscription FAQ Thread

For the 2019 gift a friend of mine has asked the following: "Is there a 2019 subscription thread? My 2018 subscription ends on November 10. (Saturday) There is no option to renew for a new gift. Only the gifts I already have. When will a 2019 option be available? Should I susbscribe on Saturday if a new option doesn't come up?" I've asked her to post here, but thought I'd pass this along as well. She's in Dublin and unable to post herself at the moment.

Mine says subscription valid until November 10. No option to subscribe for a new gift, but when I come into the site I see a banner that says "less than 7 days to subscribe".

I just got my 3D Dance Mix album. So I was definitely signed up for the 2018 gift before.

My membershio expires on December 5th 2018, and i have been receiving resunscriotion messages. I received U2 3 D Dance vinyl a while back as part of  the 2018 membership package..

 

The Problem:

When i go to renew, i only have options to: 1)select the Joshia Tree Singles Vinyl set, or, 2) selectthe U2 3 Dances vinyl, or 3) both.of the above

As i already have these, all i want to do, is resubscribe and get the 2019 gift, which i know is not announced yet.

For the moderator who said "Please Wait", know that I have been waiting since September when I was first told it was in the mail and they shipped to the wrong address.  Then they said they were shipping another, then after 6 weeks it hasn't arrived and no one answered not one of my three emails asking the status of this. Finally email 4 got answered and I was told its a emailed and here is a tracking number.  yet when I track it, it shows not "arrived at carrier".  So there is nothing to track.   So, what exactly am I waiting for besides either of the shipments that were supposedly mailed to me, a tracking number that does not work, or someone to respond to an email all to get me something I already paid for.  this year's membership sucked.  First, for the first time in 30 years as a Fan club member I got crappy seats because of the way the pre-sale seats were handled and now my "gift" (that I pay for) is where exactly??!!!

the "for the moment being, please wait" is for those whose subscription is about to expire but don't have an option other than the gift they previously received (that's why their messages are quoted, so it makes clear it's a direct answer). This is being checked and once there is an answer they will know.

For your specific case, you have a trail of emails and notifications about the shipments. Please wait (no other option but to do it, sorry). if it takes more time than is acceptable, use the emails and notifications you have and call customer support service - they are the ones who can do something about it...

I appreciate that you are trying to help, but that is all I have is a trail of UNANSWERED emails and calls that lead to nonsensical notifications (that go to untraceable shipments).  U2.com Help sends me to Live Nation to resolve. Live Nation sends me back to U2.com.  This has been going on since September. So hopefully you can appreciate my frustration when it appears no one is actually willing and/or able to help.

live nation have sent me an email saying my U2com13 2018 Gift: U2 3-D Dance Remixes is being shipped

 

since i got this in October, any idea why they would ship a second one?
