Ticketmaster Is Really Holding Out Hope

Recommended Posts

They aren't selling out because the IE tour had so many more shows; TJT30 and now this in three years; as stated above.  They've almost completely sold out Europe.  There are a lot of great shows touring America this Summer plus all the festivals.  There are many other options.  This is more an acquired taste or should've gone to see TJT tour, from what I've heard part time fans here say.  They saw IE in Paris show on HBO.  TJT30 tour was so big here in America.  I know it was huge everywhere.  Everyone I know was clamoring for TJT and does not want to see this one so soon.

What an embarrassment for U2.  Can't even sell out opening night in Los Angeles.  Still approx. 700 Tickets available for tomorrow's show.

Looks like they're going to hold the line on their pricing.  That translates into at least $70K+ in unsold tickets, probably more considering there is about $25K alone in $330 seats still onsale.

Both LA shows were sold out. What are you talking about?

lots of people seeing the poor setlist and deciding its not worth going last minuite

No, the shows were sold out... the problem was the traffic & parking situation at The Forum during both nights. It was messy outside!

And for the record, the setlist was amazing!

Gotta agree on the setlist. It was refreshing not to listen to TJT songs. At first I was dissapointed since Streets is probably their best live song but I did not miss it at all. New songs are awesome live, except YTBTAM, I wish they go full band with that one. Honestly, this is the best opening I've seen. Opening with Love/Blackout was great.
