Welcome guys to this new thread that will hopefully be filled with laughter and conversations and will turn into a nice chapter of the zootopians resilience. ✌️   Ghost towns are emerging al

Long post...but as many know, Rattle and Hum means the world to me, and I’m sharing this for probably the 269th time.  Gloria drew me in in 1983 and I was a fairly casual fan until 1988. But I wo

A few pre-show thoughts for this show.

Again, thanks to @Madfl3a for her candid and revelatory post before we watched the Paris show last week. Her post shook loose even more memories of the Elevation tour, even beyond the observations I made after we watched the Boston DVD. Re-reading her post made me realize that I had suppressed even more memories than I thought I had about the first 2/3 of the year, and even about September of that fateful year itself. I'll share these newer thoughts in a day or so. (My experiences of that time were much more first-hand than I might have preferred - in short, the Autumn 2001 Elevation shows were needed as much as they were wanted.)

But, now, let us enjoy the show that, in many ways, was the last of the "good times" shows of the "Elevation" tour - this show being a mere 10 days before "that day"; when the tour crossed the ocean to resume in the States, the tour became more one of healing than of just celebration. They came when we needed them, and we were very grateful.

Let's celebrate the pre-9/11 world at Slane! 😎
