should admit and confess that back then, for a while it was "Bono, The Edge and those other two"

by the Unforgettable Fire those other two got a name... 😁

Reminds me that on the "Ten Things U2 has Learned Over the Years" David Letterman skit where Larry says "even my own family asks 'are you Adam or Larry?'" 🤣

One of my favorite things (of very many things) about this show is that Bono later in the show wears one of the band's own tour t-shirts - it always made me smile (different shirt at the start, of course).

We didn't have MTV here back then, just a show with the current hits every Friday....

"Sunday Bloody Sunday" was one of the few highlights, when they felt like playing it... it was kinda sad when they skipped it...

This video of SBS is the VERY first time I ever saw U2

I can't remember if it was this or the Gloria video because both were on heavy rotation when we first got MTV, but they both got my attention.  Now, I'm getting all emotional...

Those awesome torches in the rock formation itself...

EXACTLY! You don't need any fancy anything to turn a show into legend. I love the simplicity of it. Works so well with that fire on stage
