Liking the musical variety which makes driving all that more enjoyable. One Tree Hill is a great song which exemplifies the talent of guitar virtuoso The Edge. 😎 Edited January 25 by Ducastista_992
Subscriber jesaia 1 Posted January 27 Subscriber Share Posted January 27 While I enjoy this channel immensely, there is absolutely no reason for profanity laced songs from the likes of Kanye or Kendrick to ever hit the U2 airwaves. This prevents me from listening at work and makes me turn it off in the car. Come on guys, we can find much better music than this.

That is something that you will find across the board for subscription radio channels. However, I recommend contacting SiriusXM directly to voice your concerns. Subscriber CorkVegan 846 Posted January 29 Subscriber Share Posted January 29 In light of Bono being awarded for his work for, and in support of, women's rights it's somewhat jarring to turn on the U2 Sirius channel and hear Kendrick Lamar repeat over and over, "Bitch don't kill my vibe." Subscriber Ducastista_992 93 Posted January 29 Subscriber Share Posted January 29 (edited) Interesting and alternative musical variety on U2 X-Radio. Never actually listened to any of Kanye West's tunes before. This 1 played recently. Powerful. One of the YouTube comments apparently "Bono wrote to Kanye about this performance." Note ~11M views! Yes, it was one of his 60 songs/letters he did for his birthday last year. More on that can be found here: https://www.u2.com/news/title/60-letters-from-bono/

I thought Kanye was a great opening act for Vertigo, considering how much an influence he was so early in his career. Many people were not happy with him being on the bill and skipped his set in St Louis. I'm glad Bono did this. I love Black Skinhead. It makes me very uncomfortable. I did not know why until I read Bono's words. I get caught up in that sound and lose a lot of the lyrics because I'm so freaked out by what I hear and sense. I know the words but they're part of the rhythm which keeps punching the listener in that track. It is a great video but be prepared if you are not familiar. I freaked when I first saw it. I think both are brilliant pieces of art. I forgot Bono gave us the story of Kanye getting prepared backstage to perform it. Very powerful.
