Community Moderator Popular Post mich40 Posted February 13 Community Moderator Popular Post Share Posted February 13 Now that the initial shock of the news that Larry will not be at the Sphere in Las Vegas is over and we understand more of what is going on, it is a good time to show our support for him and the band. Please join us in sending him all the good vibes we can. Let's keep this all about the drummer; discussion of the actual shows themselves can be found here: https://zootopia.u2.com/forums/topic/44572-let’s-go-to-vegas-baby/ I personally want to say that as hard as it was for me to hear it, it must have been 100x harder to announce it. Having said that, I want to add that I'm glad that you, Larry, are taking the time to help make sure that you will be able to play again. Wishing you all the best and a full recovery. And I will wait patiently to see you hit things again.

Subscriber Popular Post Madfl3a Posted February 13 Subscriber Popular Post Share Posted February 13 Best wishes and speedy recovery to our favourite grumpy face! The news hit hard this morning but can't help to think how much worse it must have been for you lads. Tough call to make. But the right one. Your well being comes first no matter how whiney we get about missing you. (Even if we really do) Take the time needed, we'll be rooting for Bram while he keeps your seat warm - and try to not to scare him off promise. I'll be waiting to see you soon on stage again Hitman, when you're able to enjoy it and not suffer from it. That's the last thing we want for you, the things you love shouldn't hurt you. But don't take too long, you're the only one who manages to get yer man to shut up on stage. We need damage control 😂 Take care. Much love. We'll always believe in Larry Mullen Jr - and I'll personally take care of the F*** O** And D** to anyone who claims otherwise ❤️ 15 1

Subscriber Popular Post Kevin1 Posted February 13 Subscriber Popular Post Share Posted February 13 (edited) Hi Larry, It's been 40+ years for me of being in your audience. One of the most happy feelings for me is hearing and watching you play the drums - Last night and today as the news washed over me that you are in need of surgery and recovery, I wanted to send my best to you, your family friends and loved ones. I know you will be cared for by the best Doctors and their teams, both during the surgery and during recovery. Please know that I sincerely hope for your speedy recovery, not just for your profession, but first and foremost for the quality of your life ahead. I think that the news was a 'shock' that hit many of us in the fan community hard, because we see you as OUR backbeat. We hear and feel the beats that you create and play in our lives, and I want you to know that you have profoundly shaped some of the most joy-filled moments I have ever had. From me, my son Matt, and my daughter Kelly, we send you our very best. Subscriber u2conga Posted February 13 Subscriber Share Posted February 13 Larry: Bang...Bang... Bang! Heal up! I pound this message like a raging drum beat. How different my life would be had you not put up that note at Mt. Temple. Bring back that powerful rally call when you fully healed. I will be there to hear that first drum call on "Even Better Than The Real Thing." Wish we well, Laura
