Subscriber Manohlive Posted February 12 Subscriber Share Posted February 12 (edited) I'm hoping that if this becomes a residency, presale options which were not necessarily possible in the past become so now. As far as price, EI tickets were $325 and that's six years ago. We all know the math. I'm a plan on the worst and hope for the best type with that one. I am also hoping that with a residency, we have more options to pick shows we want to attend, versus all clamoring for a few dates. The first few shows are going to be nuts. I'm going to wait and see what happens. In the meantime. I'm gonna have to sell some stuff. 😁 It's mere conjecture but if this is a residency and they are also going to hit other cities, they've got a huge new toy. What they do in Vegas could or could not follow to other cities, there could be bits they do and change in other places. If the screen from IE to EI increased as many times as it did in clarity, I can only imagine what they're coming up with now. This is very exciting and seems very U2. Unknown to you, I’m coming all the way from Australia so nipping to Vegas for the weekend isn’t really an option for me Just a bit of wishful thinking on my part, to make the trip worthwhile 😊
Subscriber Daniperez Posted February 12 Subscriber Share Posted February 12 Las Vegas is too far from Spain, in distance and cost. I hope this is just the announcement of a U2 tour starting in Las Vegas. If not, what about the rest of the no US fans?

Subscriber carlhancox Posted February 12 Subscriber Share Posted February 12 Just some thoughts and hopes as the exciting news approaches…. The capacity at this incredible new venue is rumoured to be around 18,000. Let’s aim high, and let’s say that the band agree to a 12 date run across Friday and Saturday nights…. That’s well over 200K tickets……and I know this project will be completely different than anything they’ve done in the past, but this would surely give adequate chance for subscribers to have a sustained window of opportunity to buy tickets of ‘their choice’. Furthermore, and this may be wishful thinking, but a 4 ticket limit per subscriber would be a welcome reward. Either all taken across 1 date, or split across multiple dates. Going back in time to JT30, at Croke Park where the capacity was circa 80,000 (and just one date), I think it was a 4 ticket limit back then. No matter what happens in the coming days, I’m glad that the band are back. These are exciting times. This is just personal opinion, but there’s no way I can see this going ahead without Larry, so my assumption is that he’s fully on board. Let’s hope so. The separate worldwide tour behind a new album (not SOS) has been rumored for 2024.
Subscriber ramsatw Posted February 12 Subscriber Share Posted February 12 Oh, man is this great news. We go to Vegas frequently (going first week of April). In fact the last time we saw U2 was in Vegas (both nights!) 2018. Sure the tickets will probably be outrageous, but the kids can fund their own damn college. VEGAS BABY!!!! Is there a reasonably priced hotel that you'd recommend? Obviously a central location would be best as our feet will be our carriage.

I am very leery of Ticketmaster given what's happened with past U2 sales and what we've seen from them with other artists. Yes! Ticket Master is the problem! They are a criminal organization for sure. They must be stopped 1
