I didn't realize until just then that the stanza on the Joshua Tree "Oh great ocean, oh great sea..." etc... was the ending of One Tree Hill andNOT the beginning of Exit. I think it works ethier way, but man, I didn't realize that for all those years I had that CD.

Do you think it works better as the start of one or the end of the other?

Well, for me no doubt that it works better as the end of the One Tree Hill.

Final of 1st part:

You run like a river runs to the sea

You run like a river runs to the sea.

Final of 2nd part:

It runs like a river runs to the sea.

It runs like a river to the sea.

Final of 3rd part:

We run like a river runs to the sea

We run like a river to the sea.

And finally:

Oh great ocean

Oh great sea

Run to the ocean

Run to the sea.

I used to think it was the beginning of Exit too...because I would listen to the CD, and it was at the beginning of track 10, which is Exit. It confused me sobadly, and when I realized that it was actually the end of One Tree Hill, it made a lot more sense. It obviously goes with that song.

I can't remember how I figured it out...because it's hard to tell on a record when one track ends and the next begins. You have to search for thatlittle separation in the grooves. I think I was listening to a friend's mp3 player and it was at the end of OTH and I finally realized that it was supposedto be that way.
