  3. An amazing poet whose tender age makes her achievements even more impressive. She was named Youth Poet Laureate at the age of 19 (4 years ago)! She combines the power of her words with a powerful sense of social justice - quite a feat, indeed. Here's the poem she read at Biden's inauguration: THE HILL WE CLIMB When day comes we ask ourselves, where can we find light in this never-ending shade? The loss we carry, a sea we must wade We've braved the belly of the beast We've learned that quiet isn't always peace And the norms and no

  7. Great to have their best song in HD!! Unfortunately it didn't get the full 4k treatment as Pride did.

  8. I watched this last night after we inaugurated my country's new President. I thought I had finished tearing up for the day. Nope. Pride got me good. It felt great. This is spectacular. I love Bono's moves in this video. I've never seen anyone dance like that. It seems organic, which is no surprise. It's still refreshing all these years later.

  9. Seems like a logical solution, one I hope Live Nation take. As a Brit, I'm sorry about the Brexit fiasco. It's all a bit embarrassing at the moment.

  10. The big wave, the great emotion. Nothing more than to see, nothing more than a fear inside my heart. Like the love I am feeling, towards the everlasting infinitive essence our real. The sea, the big sea.

  11. Tonight I just laid down to stare... The book on your shelf The snow.. It slowly melts The little red ribbons in your hair The frost on your window The light- its gone Or was it even really ever there Or did you ever really even care There was a song that you wrote- hanging on the wall Yes.........yes, it was small But ever so deep The depths of desperation and despair The broken mirror and the glass beside it you cut your feet.... Defeat- you realized it I'm a stranger to myself.... Tha

  12. Ok here are my 2 stories, August 18th 2002, I had just returned home from work and heard my older brother arrive. He charged up the stairs and into the hall which led to my room. A gut feeling told me to follow him when he turned around and showed me two of the most adorable kittens. My brother said "the orange one is a boy, the other one is a girl, brother, sister and popped them on my bed. After he left, the kittens looked up at me with their blue eyes as if they were saying "are you are new mommy?" The kitties lived with us all of their lives until it was their time to

  19. I think I can speak for all of the moderators here. We do thoroughly enjoy bringing/sharing good news on the boards; but what we love more is the interaction with members of the community. Without you all here, we wouldn't be here. Starting this thread was not something I had to do, but something I chose to do. It is not my thread, it is not Max's or Bigwave's thread. The thread belongs to all of us here in Zootopia. It makes me happier to see people commenting on the videos and how much they love them than it does to actually post them. We are all on different time zones here, so if someone

  20. This is the song, upon seeing it back in 1983 on MTV, that transformed me from being aware of U2 and liking a handful of their songs to becoming a full-fledged U2 fan. I immediately bought "War" (on cassette - it was 1983) and haven't looked back since. It's one of the older songs I wish would work its way back into a future setlist...

  22. I think that was one if you look at the right side of the stage, directly under the lamp you can see side stage. (Photo credit to someone else, not mine) Here it is in one of my photos, right there at Bono. I can say that the floor was shaking like crazy and any video footage would have been highly affected by it. I remember somewhere between I Will Follow, Out of Control and Electric Co, the floor was shaking so much, my friend and I held on to each other to keep from falling. I remember thinking that if the floor collapsed, at least I was having the time of my life.

  24. I received some unexpected trading cards in today's post! I have 2 sketch cards en route, but these are not sketches - and they're not from either of the people I'm buying the sketches from. I think it may be related to the group admin saying that he would try and organise something to make up for my missing Secret Santa parcel. That's currently being investigated by my local Royal Mail depot as a possible theft, but the group member who organised that assured me he would try and sort out some kind of consolation. The cards are limited edition, numbered parallels of my favourite ch
