  1. It's amazing that due to the length of their career, we all have different albums that define our love of the music. My bf is in his early 50s and remembers listening to War over and over on his very awesome Sony Walkman. Some co-workers have told me JT defined thier college years unlike any other music of the time. I saw bits on FB a while back from be fan in thier 20s who lived in NJ and ATYCLB was the album that got them through 2001 with clarity. AB was it for me... I remember being a impressionable tween and U2 being part of the media blitz that took me from innocent to experience,

  4. Really, you'd be pissed off that you have to travel 3.5hrs down the road for a U2 show? Life's that tough? Feel some pity for fans from Oz, NZ, Asia, Scandinavia & Eastern Europe. My travel time should be a little over 24 hours I would think. Why not go to any announced Glasgow shows too. This band won't be around forever.

  5. on the positive side, be glad you got the Innocence tour by the time U2 decide to tour Australia it will be 8 years since they last toured if they do decide to tour Australia & New Zealand in say a years time, I may of lost interest. same goes for MetallicA. I still love both bands but try & stay in contact with us. yes, we are a long way from the USA & Europe but we matter gosh darn it. also, feel free to lose the state of the art walk through screen if that's what stops U2 touring here. same goes for MetallicA, leave those f*cking drones in the Northern Hemisphere
