  1. Wow, just Wow. I am around since Boy in 1980 when I was 20, It's 2017 now, I am 57 years of age and still can lose myself entirely in an U2 album. How amazing is that fact?! Again you took a different corner musically, raised the bar even higher while I even didn't know this was possible. This is a Big One, no doubt. Thank you Adam. Larry, The Edge, Bono and hands down: you succeeded in giving your ever demanding fans what they seek: our necessary vitamin U-2 . The best years for U2 fans are ahead of us.
  2. You can find me IN North Side Story! As a long term fan I was asked by Niall Stokes for old (Dutch/Belgium) musicmagazine articles (wich ofcourse I have) for in NSS.. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that they 'honoured' me with TWO pages; page 171 and 181. And yes, I 'm a bit proud, haha.
  3. Zoo's back.. feels good! Would be nice to start fresh, without people complaining right away.. That is sooooooo 2012... I can do without the bitterness myself, there's enough of that out there, in the real world.. This is U2.com, our escapeworld, our U2 dreamlandscape.. If everybody would count to three before reacting on someone else's post.. But that would be utopia I guess.. A lot of my friends switched to FB btw, so let's see what's gonna happen here..
  4. Very much like this one! It's good to see young people 'dig' U2 too.. Love the posters and It's great to see the guitar in the corner.. You rock son ;-)

  10. Feb. 29, 2012. They did it. Conservative lawmakers in Saint Petersburg just passed the notorious "propaganda" law to silence any reading, writing, speech or debate on anything "gay." The goal? To make LGBT people disappear. But the fight is far from over. The bill won't become law until it's signed by the Governor. St. Petersburg is one of Russia's number one tourist destinations. That's why an international storm of bad publicity will force the Governor to think twice about the cost of signing this bill. We have less than a week to act: tell the Governor of St. Petersburg that a city that muzzles artists, writers, musicians, citizens and visitors isn't a city you plan to visit. Conservatives in St. Petersburg passed this "gay gag rule" despite condemnation from world leaders - and even the country's own international treaty obligations respecting freedom of expression. But at the same time, Russian leaders recently announced that they want to invest $11 billion dollars to build their international reputation and attract tourists from around the world. St. Petersburg, Russia's cosmopolitan "window to the west" is key to that strategy. But they can't have it both ways - a thriving tourist economy can’t coexist with a new law that will muzzle artists, writers, musicians and regular citizens who live in - or visit - the city. http://allout.org/en/actions/stpetersburg-dont-go/taf?akid=564.839353.2yoz_l&rd=1&t=2&utm_campaign=russia_dontgothere&utm_content=english&utm_medium=email&utm_source=actionkitLees
  11. Bought the Uber yesterday in Rotterdam, Holland, for 299,- euro and as a 30+ year U2 -and Corbijn- fan I absolutely love it. @Steelerfan: do I absolutely NEED it like water and bread to stay alive? No probable not. But I can afford it and need to please myself every now and then. Purchase something my heart is in. You can not just work all the time and buy nothing. Sometimes I want to buy a piece of art. I love U2. After 30 years their music is (a big) part of me and I love the Corbijn artwork. Yes, I like this box. A lot. :-)

  13. "Dangermouse reminds us a lot of Brian and Danny when we were making those experimental records, he 's got different ears". That sounds unbelievable promising.
