  1. I caved and listened. I love it! The Black Out, The best Thing and Get out of your own Way, don't really sound like the rest of the album! I was trying so hard to be strong and not listen but I had a moment of weakness and now i can't stop listening!
  2. I believe the end of the redemption period is midday tomorrow GMT.
  3. I just recieved an email telling me I wasnt lucky!! Damn!!!
  4. Yep! I already know i'll be gutted if I dont get to go. Apparently the gig will be about 40 mins long and in front of 7000!!
  5. Hi Mike. Great way to spend your birthday!
  6. After all morning and afternoon of trying, I've literally just managed to get a GA ticket from ticketmaster !! They must released a ticket drop!

  11. So cool to hear all of your stories. Sounds like an amazing night!
  12. Congratulations to all the lucky winners. You'll have a great time!
  13. Still undecided myself, on where to stand for London October 26th. Ive got seated tickets for November 3rd where i'll have a slightly angled view of the screen from the upper tier, so I might just get as close to one of the stages as i can. Which one though..
  14. Great! Nice appetizer before the London shows!
  15. I think some of the big hits will be out like 'Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For' and 'With Or Without You' and possibly 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. Most of Songs of Innocence will be played. With Arena gigs, they don't have to play to the masses quite as much. I'm sure there will still be a fairly big amount of hits though. I'm hoping for something off October. Never heard them do anything live from that album. As someone mentioned previously, I think 'Tommorrow' would work really well. Especially if they are going to have a string section for part of the evening.
  16. I saw the Stones at the o2 arena in London in 2012. Tickets were Stupidly expensive (before the scalpers got hold of them!) Cheapest seat was £166 and the most expensive was £400. Scalpers bought up loads on the day of sale and prices were going for stupid amounts like up to £15000 for a pair! Not only were they not selling, but ticketmaster couldn't sell the face value ones either! With about 3 days to go, it looked like the stones would be playing to an empty arena. Then the touts started dropping prices. Still they wouldn't sell. In the end, lots of people got bargains on the day! £400 seats were going for £100. The touts took a massive hit to the pocket. On show day, the place was sold out! It's not often you see the touts lose!
  17. I think around 2 hours 15 mins is plenty for a gig. I've never felt short changed at a U2 gig. The only two people I can think of that do 3 hour concerts would Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen. Bruce played about 3hrs and 20 mins when I saw him in 2012. Even then I think he wanted to stay longer if it wasn't for the curfew!
  18. Maybe London might get those extra two shows added in the new year. It's a long wait until October, so there's plenty of time to add concerts. Most people are probably skint right now, so holding off until the new year might be the way to go!
  19. Ive got tickets behind the b stage/Red Zone area for the 1st night in London. I don't mind not being able to see the screen as long as i have an unobstructed view of both the bstage and main stage area. I'm sure we'll find out soon enough.
  20. Yep that's me circled! If I remember correctly, they asked that guy, just before filming if he was over 18! To which he looked a bit worried, as to what was going to happen!! Haha!
