Well, I am disappointed at the moment, sure they can do as they feel they should, for me I think it' s time to move on, I hope I'll see you again if the band decides to release an album, but for now enough is enough.
Maybe I'm completely wrong in what I'm about to write, I don't know anything about clothing business, but I think that the designs and the kind of clothes Edun is selling don't match the luxury prices, I'm sure they can't sell these items at lower prices if they are paying fair sallaries and they have just a small line of production, but I also think that not many people who buy this kind of designs can afford Edun's prices and that's a problem.
Live Aid made them go over the frontiers of language, before that show they were an emerging band in some English speaking countries, after Live Aid they became known worldwide. Paul MacGuinness was really clever asking for their time slot which made it possible to be watched in most countries and Bono was a genius stealing the show from Queen.
If he launches Au of Bono I'll buy the first one for my boyfriend, and he, as fan as me, will be delighted with the present.
I also hope this patent will enable him to take action against that lookalike who sings and takes money for attending dinners in Bono's name, sure you know who I'm talking about, I don't want to give him any popularity by mentioning his name.
I didn't have a great camera, just a compact one, but I took many pics, I like these ones from Helsinki 1 ( a girl from here gave me the ticket she bought for her mum, thank you again, Helen) :
This last one is from Frankfurt.
Happy birthday Bono! One more year man, I hope this will be full of happiness and laughters, take care of yourself, we need you, but we need you happy and healthy.
Well, if you could finish that album, that will be great too!
