About sectionbgirl92

  1. I totally cheated on you with Snow Patrol U2. Went and saw them the Saturday night after I had seen you 3 times that same week! But it's kinda your fault, you introduced us, well sort of. Hopefully I'll be cheating on you later this month with Pearl Jam too.
  2. It's seems like there is hardly anyone here on this board today at all. I wonder why no live thread started for the show tonight?
  3. I don't know why I am here either. Especially since my company just sent out another internet surfing warning email!
  4. In another thread similar to this one from this summer, Baja suggested should this happen to someone, take it up with the staduim staff. If you feel your viewis obstructed, asked to be moved. I believe she stated that it had happened at a concert in the past, and those affected asked to be moved and were. It'sreally the only way to deal with the situation. Sorry you were dissapointed though, that sucks.

Touring is a business and U2 management made a business decission. They are not going to pay for your change of flight fee's or your hotel reservation it just doesn't work that way. I am sure that the band will do something at the September 23rd show for the fans. so please stop the "they made a mistake, now give me something" attitude. Especially since technically it should just be folks in NY going. Just folks in NY, huh? Odd considering the stadium is actually in New Jersey. People are not seeming to understand this little fact about Giants Stadium. If you are travelling to Giants Stadium... you are not going to be in NY... you are going to be in East Rutherford, NJ. Btw... I really hope those who have hotel accommodations didn't get them in NYC. It's only 12 miles from NYC....... Yes, but 12 miles can possibly be about and hour an a half in traffic in this part of the world. I'm not sure where you are. Sometimes, there can be a half hour wait or more at the tunnels. We are about 90 miles from the stadium and it will probably take us 2/3 hrs to get there at least, with all the traffic up near the stadium.I'm sure taking public transportaiton from NYC, is a better option. Just leave plenty of time where ever you are coming from, as traffic near the stadium and in this part of the world in general, is insane. no i live 350 miles away, but will probably be stating on the island the night before and driving in wednesday afternoon. definitely a good point regarding the traffic. Public trnasportation is definitely the way to go if you are staying in a hotel. unfortunately the trains don't go there.....at least not that i'm aware. I think down in the fan gathering section, some fans who are from the New York area, have posted some good travel info regarding trains that go to the stadiumor near it.

(i can give advice on travelling to any of these shows cheaply without a car, as i have researched it & was prepared to do it myself, but now am too busy on all of those dates.) i especially would like to unload the dallas ticket , or to unload both the d.c. ticket & the charlottesville ticket together (so i wouldn't have to make that trip at all) i don't know how to trade tix except to swap my physical tix for your physical tix in person. i live in nyc but i get around the east coast & S.F. bay area & can probably meet you somewhere convenient for you. also, i will be at both boston shows & then both giants stadium shows (despite not having a ticket), so of course i can meet you there before doors open. i have a general question for all u guys: do ppl have other kinds of tix (print-at-home, etc), & is there some easy secure way to swap those other types of tickets? this all seems like a headache, but i hope we can work it out, cuz i really cant go to any of those 4 shows i have GA tix for sdvsdvsdv@gmail.com (i will give my phone # to anyone serious about a swap) I think it is fairly safe to swap for ticketfast tickets from other U2.com members. I've done it and not had a problem.
