  1. @razspazz Thank you! I think it's worth it to put the information you shared into its own 'Saitama Ticket Pick-up' thread. There still might be questions fans have, but it'll provide a go-to spot. When will you pick up your tickets? Of course I'm requesting the video footage with some cool background tunes. What do you think? Ah, just saw the 'fine print' that pick up starts on November 20. Patience. "Tickets will be available for pick up from 20th November (Wed) from 10:00am"
  2. The promotions begin. Cool to see in a station in Japan. @andytak1984 https://www.instagram.com/p/ByUAzEGpbgm/?igshid=17k2988vgq8qf
  3. In an earlier post I mentioned viewing videos to learn how to pick up, but have yet to find an online resource/video specifically about 7-11 pick up. Hope not to have misled folks looking for help. Put out word to Ticket Pia, and possibly fans who purchased have contacted them, too. Congrats to everyone heading to Saitama!
  4. You are welcome, @mich40 ! Right now I'm researching pick-up details for 7-11s and once I better understand, will post.
  5. There are helpful tutorials on using the Ticket Pia machines via YouTube, and a GoogleMap search of nearby 7-11s to Saitama Super Arena show you multiple locations. 7-11s in Japan are absolutely nothing like the ones we have in the States. You'll appreciate their existence.
  6. I contacted Live Nation Japan, asked them about registration/SMS verification through PIA or e+. Their response: “There will be no registration needed for the fan-club presale. If you live overseas or only speak English, please access the English ticketing page provided by Pia.” I do not know how this will play out during the presale, but I’m hoping it means the process is U2 . Com subscriber friendly. I strongly encourage you to contact them to ask your questions even if it’s a repeat of mine. It’s better to have info from multiple representatives instead of
  7. I hope you get to go, economicformula! Are you going to peek into the U2.com subscriber presale which begins 12 PM June 4 Tokyo time?
  8. I really appreciate this story. Some artists keep it humble and truly connect with fans. Thank you for sharing it with us.
  9. Hello, besterspieler. I'm a USian and did experience PIA for Vertigo 2006, but with the advantage of having family in Japan through my husband. Even then the process was challenging (the Mods and ticket representatives survived me. I almost didn't make it. lol)! Peeking around sources and blogs, I'm finding that it might continue to be for fans. Patience and research will help you through the process. From what I see, you need a Japanese phone number and address. Here is an unofficial post about the process. https://setsumeikudasai.tumblr.com/post/1682
  10. First post to this thread in 2019?! The show announcements for Australia, Japan, Singapore and Korea brought me back in. Originally an 'old zoo' member in 2005, and traveled inside and out of the forums over the years. Always as Fragrant, of course. Hoping that there are other fans who will gravitate back or jump in for the first time. Peace! Much love! Irene Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  11. @artalvarez I think we can celebrate the New Orleans show indefinitely. It was a special night, and dang, you had an excellent surprise!!! Seeing Larry had to be the best pre game treat to prep you for U2. Very cool! ❤️
  12. "New Birth, Rebirth, Trombone Shorty!" - Bono, September 25, 2006 Who knows the song and location Bono sang these words? It's awesome to see them together again. They almost missed him as Trombone Shorty heads out on tour tomorrow, September 14.
  13. @iinsure, that takes a lot of U2 trust. Nice how you are paying forward. These are not an easy sell. I have an extra one, too. Good Luck, and see you there!
  14. I'm only 80 miles away!! Thank you, U2, for adding New Orleans to the JT tour. Your return is special!! Let's breathe some life into this thread. Flashbacks to their other visits? Anyone from the Zoo going?
  15. @toyoracer - You endured a scary and exhausting experience during relentless Harvey. I appreciate your story and it's good to know that you made it through without damage on top of the emotional trauma. I'm sorry you missed Detroit, and it's cool that you were able to get a ticket refund. I'm guessing that all is a go for New Orleans this Thursday!! When do you get into town?
  16. @sm2112 We'll see you there! Yes, NOLA with U2 in the midst is a good thing.
  17. No apologies for sharing your story. It puts us in the emotional space of that time and appreciate your experience more. I'd think that U2 going back to do this first full concert would reflect on that time in their lives and hearts, too. 'Stuck in a Moment' and memories of Michael Hutchence. Come on through NOLA en route to St. Louis. :)) If you can make it that would be awesome!
  18. @toyoracer Speaking of getting through tough weather to make it to a U2 show, how are you in Houston? I'm sorry that I didn't notice until this morning that Houston your home base. It sounds like you're coming to the show, but looking back at last week, I hope that Harvey's flooding wasn't too hellish and scary for you. It was overwhelming to watch from Baton Rouge, especially with our own flooding last summer. I have friends still not in their homes.
  19. @mich40 I'm glad that you made it to New Orleans safely, and it makes for a cool U2 Pop story. I wonder, though, did the lemon make it through the tornado? lol. What was it like to see U2 in the Dome with low numbers? I've been in the space two times with large crowds and don't know what it's like otherwise. If Bono's disgusted enough, maybe we could move it over to Tipitina's uptown or 2nd line it to Preservation Hall. I support keeping this thing on the ground and local which would make most sense in NOLA.
  20. Very cool. I'm in GA, too. This week I'll work on finding out about security and Dome GA line procedures.
  21. As of tonight, it looks like plenty of tickets for the show. I gave 4GA a try, and they're still available. I hope it won't bring Bono flashbacks to their Pop Tour stop to the Dome in 1997. Attendance was low, and despite coming back to play Super Bowl in 2002 and premier 'Saints Are Coming' at the Dome reopening in 2006, they haven't played a full concert since. This'll be the first one in 20 years!
  22. @toyoracer It'll be an exciting night for you! Where are your seats?
