I only read the GA standing section, but it looks like you arrive only an hour before doors open at 6pm to line up in order of the number on your ticket. Entry for GA front and rear is at Gate W. There is a bag check, but you can't put things in and out - it's one time for 1000 JPY. Mdse will be sold from Gate C from 1pm for ticketholders and non-ticketholders. I will try to copy/paste from Google Translate in a second reply.
Following this thread as I'm also wondering what the official GA policy is for Saitama...if they are going by the numbers on the tickets, what is the latest arrival time for them to be honored? Lots of questions...
I got there at 4:30pm on Saturday and was on the railing at the e-stage....5:30pm on Sunday and was in the second row on the catwalk right by the e-stage. The line was much longer on Sunday. It was just too brutally hot outside and in my opinion not necessary to get there super early. It seemed to be more crowded by the main stage, but in general, when I got inside around 6:45/7, there was tons of room and it was easy to find a spot in the second row. Don't stress about it - I used to always go early in the morning but there is so much more room on the floor this tour. Good luck!
I'm still looking to buy 1 GA at face value for MSG NYC for each of the last four nights - July 26, 27, 30, and 31. I have 1 400 level seat for each of those nights and could either trade/add in the price difference (the seat was $45 with fees) or just buy a GA straight out. Thanks!
I'm looking for 1 GA for NYC 5, 6, 7, and 8 - July 26-27-30-31. I have one 400 level seat for each of those shows and am hoping to upgrade. I am open to buying a GA at face value + TM fees or trading & I'll pay the difference in price. The 400-level seats were $45 including TM fees.
I just renewed my subscription which was due to expire in a few weeks. I noticed that my presale code was in my account information section with a line through it, signifying that it had been used. I don't believe an additional presale code will be given out for this leg of the tour, sadly but it would be nice!
I don't have the Blackberry 10...I have a Curve 9315...I'm pretty sure Snap is only for the 10 but I'll look into it. I did try my browser to try to use Ticketmaster on my phone without any luck. My phone just might not be built for this type of transaction unfortunately...but hopefully TM's site will be tomorrow! Thanks so much for your help.
Thanks a million - I had tried those links previously....unfortunately the Ticketmaster link went to just a homepage with no TM app available...and the Crackberry link went to a page that doesn't exist. I'm starting to think from what I've been reading online that the TM app 'disappeared' from Blackberry two years ago and was never replaced. Thanks for the info and the wishes! Hopefully Ticketmaster will get their act together for tomorrow. Best of luck to you as well! :-)
I realize most people have iPhones or similar so getting the Ticketmaster app was easy...but for the Blackberry holdouts out there....has anyone had any luck downloading a Ticketmaster app for Blackberry phones (US)? I'm trying to prepare myself for tomorrow's general sale as I have no doubt this will be a better way to go than the website. Thanks in advance!
Thanks U2.com for the tickets! I'm glad we all got in finally after 2 hours in the cold. Hopefully next time things will be organized better....The film was extremely moving and powerful. Bono spoke briefly prior to the screening.
