  1. Thank you, just wanted to confirm.I couldn’t remember what happened in previous situations like this at all, just wasn’t sure.I’ve slept since then lol Thanks again.
  2. Mine is active until 1st March 2021.If I renew now, will my subscription run from Jan 2021 to Jan 2022 OR March 2021 to March 2022? Plus,I haven’t received the email to renew subscription which I usually receive when the new gift is announced (I suspect if I don’t renew now, then that will arrive before 1st March 2021 when my current subscription expires)
  3. Just a heads up.My account said shipping date was 15th February, received them (10” singles) this morning (20/2) in North West UK.Plus I didn’t get an e-mail notifying me of them being shipped.A bit odd it took this long since the original announcement of what we were getting for the 2017 gift, but having read this thread it wasn’t the end of the world as to the reasons why.Hope everyone gets theirs sooner rather than later.
  4. How do I renew my subscription for 2018 ? My account info says 'Registration for U2.com Verified Subscriber presale has now ended.' with no link now to renew under my account expiry date.Is it worth waiting till new year when us Europeans will be going through what are US cousins are going through now ?
  5. So you've opened a US TM account from the UK just to go through the verification process ? What would happen if you only get the pre sale code for NA which you may not attend, but don't get pre sale code for Europe ie UK that you want to attend because you've linked with US TM already ?
  6. That's how I read it too. It's a generalisation of verified fan sale on 20th Nov,no mention of U2 dot com active subscriber, verified fan pre sale on 14th Nov.Of which I think U2 members will get a code for a ticket guaranteed. If not, what is the point if a general fan gets a code for a ticket on the 20th but a verified U2 member doesn't ? So,a verified U2 member ends up having to go to a scalper to get a ticket, from a non U2 fan,and paying over the odds. Then the system falls flat on its arse !!
  7. Which proves what I've been saying all along that it adds 12 months to an existing subscription when you go to renew with a 2018 package??
  8. Per the FAQ's Why can’t I connect via my ticketmaster.co.uk account as I don't have a ticketmaster.com account? This Presale and verification process is for U2 shows in U.S. + Canada only. If you wish to attend a show in U.S. + Canada, please enter your North American Ticketmaster account info or create one in advance. Us Europeans will be in the same boat as our North American cousins in due course. Go to U2 dot com, sign in,click on your username,go down to account info and your subscription active date until is there.Mine is.
  9. If you have to pay again for a 2018 package to verify,it adds 12 months to your existing subscription. So you'd be active until,I presume,29th Oct 2019,if you renewed last Saturday.
  10. What subscriber gift did you apply to receive, what were the options ? The 10" singles ?
  11. Good one.I still interpret it as an active subscription and the band announce a tour, you'll get a pre sale code.So in your case, the way I see it,you'll get a pre sale code for 2018 in NA because your subscription is active.
  12. From memory,it was 4 tickets max for 2 shows on 360 tour.I got 2 for Wembley then 4 for Don Valley with the same pre sale code,
  13. If the band announce a tour while you have an active subscription you will be eligible for pre sales ie get the codes. For the JTTour 2017,my subscription was Jan 2016 to Jan 2017,but because of the delay in announcing the gift,it was extended to Feb 2017.When tour announced on 9th Jan,the pre sale code appeared in my account.
  14. If you renew now,12 months will be added to your current subscription,so you will run out in August 2019 if you decide to renew.I wouldn't worry, wait for Europe to be announced, then take it from there. But yes,to be a verified fan for this tour for pre sales codes etc you'll need to renew.
  15. According to the detail in the renewing of subscription,12 months will be added to the end of your current subscription.Mine ,like a fair few from the lateness of details in late 2016 when they tagged on an extra month because no one knew what was happening, ends in Feb 2018.But seeing as this 12th Nov deadline to verify is for North America,as far as I'm concerned it doesn't apply to me at this stage. When Europe is announced then I'll renew & verify with Ticketmaster dot co dot uk,and it does mention that too in the FAQ's.That's my understanding as I see things.
  16. No this message appears when trying to search for tickets. Like I said, clearing the cache, closing browser and trying again always works for me. Then if you try several times again with no tickets found you might start getting the message again. Sorry,my bad.I honestly thought that's what the thread was about.Hope every one gets what they want ticket wise.Good luck.
  17. All that message means is that your paperless tickets,if you chose that option, are not yet available to print. You will receive a .pdf file in due course.I have the same on my confirmation, phoned up & that's what I was told.Tickets are mine & paid for.Just not yet available to print.
  18. ^ Doh,my bad. The 10 choices of coach travel depended on where in the country you wanted to travel from. There was an 'i' to press on to give you that option. Also, the closest to the Stadium was the cheapest price £24.50 from memory.I chose the 9th option at £54.50.You will get a link from National Express in time to choose your pick up point & print off your ticket. That should be by 17th June,as stated on my confirmation.Hope that helps.
  19. Need this confirming 100% before pre sales begin. So in answer to the first sentence,if a tour & presales are announced while you have an active subscription, you should get a pre sales code ? That's my understanding tbh
  20. My subscription runs out on 16th Feb,surely I should have a pre sales code ? Do I have to renew to get it ?

If this is in the wrong thread etc please move to wherever may be appropriate I noticed that both nights at both ends of the arena were 'blacked out' after selling tickets for those sections (block 375 I've seen quoted) Ticket holders were then given other 'open' seats & relocated.Where those sections in direct parallel vision of the screen and were not visible & have the band or promoters recognised this and taken action for the rest of the tour in other arenas ? Asking as I have seats that would potentially have this problem at the SSE Hydro,Glasgow in November, having seen the layout etc of the production thus far in the tour.Have contacted the venue but they have said as it's a hired out event the promotors would have factored for this when putting tickets on sale after seeing if the venue was suitable for the production. And if the venue is sold out how can they relocate a seated ticket holder if all seats are sold, including the ones that were 'blacked out' ?
  22. Any idea if National Express would consider the same for Glasgow.Could really do with that tbh A bit stuck at the minute as I don't particulay want to stay over on the Saturday night.
  23. I was right at the back at Leeds in 1997 sheltering under the tree at the back in the torrential rain.Magnificent view & that was an experience I'd do again in a heartbeat.
  24. £35 for a seated ticket with a boss view at Sheffield was better than an £85 at Wembley.I saw more of the Wembley gig on a bootleg DVD !
