    Nope, I was there. It just seemed a little subdued. And I think the screen was overpowering for such a small venue.

    I think the word 'experience' would naturally relate to their life experience...but, i think each song captures a certain sound from a previous album.

    And there's my lack of patience again....i've listened to SOE about 20 times over the weekend and I'm slowly getting it. There are so many echos of previous albums here. Really, i see SOE as not just the boy's experience showing but their musical experience.

    U2 hasn't had a gem in a long while. Hate to say that but they haven't had solid songs since HTAAB. The songs are so forgettable to my ears.

    I did an Airbnb in the 'city center' near Christ Church. Very reasonable and on recommendation of a co-worker.

    Amen. I'm trying to put my finger on the thing that i think is missing and it's really the feeling the songs inspire or dont....and each person is not the same each time they hear U2's music.

    I hope they pull good songs out of that hat. IE and SOE are weak and so generic. Please give us one more classic and retire. Best go out on top.

    Agree. However, i think the entire album is weak as were the last 2.

    I'm in the minority but i think SOE is not their best effort, not even close. For sure, it'll be good live...but i just can't pick out a song that I'd want to play over and over. HTDAAB was the last good album.
