  1. Totally agree on this. I'm not against taking a few photos every now and then but holding your phone up and filming for the entire show! Er, no thanks!
  2. I LOVE this version of New Year's Day! Somehow sounds moodier and darker.
  3. Enjoy the show tonight! Looking forward to looking at the setlist tomorrow morning...
  4. Looking down their Twitter, that tourbook actually looks really nice! I've never bought anything more than a tour shirt at gigs before, but that could be about to change...
  5. Here we go...just under 3 months until London, looking forward to seeing this setlist!
  6. I'm surprised some of the warhorses (Vertigo, Mysterious Ways, I Will Follow etc.) haven't been heard. To be fair, the album is taking up the biggest chunk of set time so I probably shouldn't be. That said, they've rehearsed a new song at least once (rumoured to be The Little Things Give You Away, one of the songs they mentioned in an interview or two a while back) so we'll have that to look forward to.
  7. Oh man that looks good. But this flags up the one thing I don't like about U2 gigs - I don't know whether to stand near the main stage or the b-stage!
  8. Oh. Oh wow. Easily my favourite song from TUF, I may well be in pieces if they actually play it in London.
  9. 21, been to two, both I&E gigs in London. Number 3 (also in London) is coming up in July!
  10. The thing is that Trump is basically a Twitter troll. And you know the thing about trolls...don't feed them, it only makes them more powerful!
  11. The presales were a doddle for me! Quick & easy and got the GA ticket I wanted! See you all there!
  12. I've managed to nab a GA ticket for London...this is gonna be emotional!
  13. How does the Red Zone work on this tour? In the same way as the I&E tour or differently?
  14. If you resubscribe now then I think you should get a code. According to Ticketmaster there is priority for longstanding subscribers (Red Hill group), they get first access on Wednesday at 9am, and the more recent subscribers (Wires group) get in on Thursday at 9am.
  15. Indeed! Judging by the Dublin seat map, that's what they were aiming for
  16. Seat map for the London gig, hope that helps!
  17. According to Edge they know they're playing the album in full, they just don't know what the running order of the show is gonna be. I've seen a few examples of bands playing albums in full: -Muse playing Origin of Symmetry in full at Reading & Leeds 2011. Started the show by playing the album then did a 10-song greatest hits encore. -Green Day & Springsteen playing Dookie & Darkness On the Edge of Town respectively. Started off by playing some big hits (in Springsteen's case he took some requests from the audience), then did the whole album, then finished off with more hits. -Metallica playing the Black Album. Started off with hits, then ended the show by playing the whole album but in reverse order, so they finished with Enter Sandman, their biggest hit. Edge said they might not start the show or the sequence of the album with Where the Streets Have No Name, because they want to build towards that point. Considering this I could see them doing a Metallica and playing the album in reverse - starting it with Mothers and ending with Streets.
  18. I'm in Red Hill. So excited for this, The Joshua Tree in full and Noel Gallagher supporting! My only gripe is that they chose Twickenham when Wembley or the Emirates Stadium would've been easier to get to. Still, this is gonna be big.
  19. 9am EST as well, which would be 2pm in UK time. Wonder if the on-sale date mentioned on the Rose Bowl poster is the same for all dates.
  20. Considering that it's the album that made them the biggest band in the world, I don't blame them. As Bono said during From the Sky Down, "There is a moment where it would be dysfunctional not to look at the past." Lots of bands play albums in full to mark anniversaries, it's nothing new.
  21. July 8th at Wembley Stadium in London apparently. Noel Gallagher would be an added bonus!
  22. So atu2.com have gotten hold of this: Link here: http://www.atu2.com/news/new-promo-graphic-shows-lumineers-will-open-rose-bowl-show-on-may-20.html
