Hello. I have noticed the ticket exchange forum is set up so I requested to join that. This is a general question I hope that can be answered. I have 2 red zone tickets to Singapore and due to some grotty circumstances which I am not even thinking of, I can’t go to Singapore now. As they are for the red zone, they are collection on the day and intended to be non-transferable. I’m wondering if there is a feasible way that they can be sold if somebody wants to buy them. I remember having been in red zone previously and there were two lovely ladies (I think one is called Emma?) . They manned the red zone and I think generally followed U2 about looking after the red zone (what a wonderful job). Does anyone know if there is a contact email or something for them. I was hoping that if I was able to sell the tickets to a fan via the forum, I could send the documentation on email to the buyer along with sending a correspondence to the red zone managers stating that this was an honest fan to fan transfer of the ticket and giving authorisation for the new buyer to collect it or something along those lines. Has anyone had experience of this? When I had someone else’s tickets for red zone they were there with me on the day to authorise that I collect it but obviously I won’t be in Singapore hence the question. I’m not interested whatsoever in making a profit of course which is obviously not allowed anyway and I’m quite prepared to sell the ticket at a reduction rather than lose the money. Obviously if it comes to that then fair enough but I thought I would ask in advance. I would be grateful for any input. Thank you very much.
Brendo 1704.. great story. Maybe the Aussie guy will recognise himself! That would be brilliant. Or should post it on the Australia page for the show.....’find the photobomb aussie’ 18 years later.....
Well - I’m going for red zone again in the second night pre-sale. At least it is 6am this time (for U.K.) and not 3am! I’m still frazzled from all the shenanigans from Monday having to pretend to live in Singapore and taking 5 goes to finally check out (I was being my husband Brunodog that night). Hopefully should be smoother....though they might be famous last words. Good luck to everyone else going for tickets.
Yeah I’m with you on that - mmm crumpets. Just a little bit crispy on the top rather than just warmed. Oh I haven’t eaten hardly anything for days and my appetite is just starting to return....my mum (who is looking after me) has just gone to make some toast now after your post! Not same as crumpets but good enough...
Thanks...yeah it’s crap isn’t it. I’ve been beside myself anyway...missing these just make it worse! they are my life, my husband isnt even all that bothered - he just follows me following them (or not this time as the case may be!). Well, I have to just get on with it...these shows look like the best ever as well which is tough but I am going to watch as much as I can on-line tonight. Fingers crossed Dublin 4 but I haven’t got a ticket (but someone might have a seat for me) and I already have a flight. Will just see how it goes. Where have you been this tour?
Ok so I’m not there....this is the FOURTH one I’ve missed (health....?). I sold my Copenhagen tix, sold my Manchester tix, sold last nights tix and now my husband is there alone in the Red Zone and staying in the posh hotel I booked ???. Sigh I will have to make do with looking on line here from my bed and trying to spot my lanky 6ft4 hubby . May still have a chance for Dublin 4....just gotta believe in it. Enjoy everyone watching there and on-line and think of me feeling like the it’s the end of the world....
Boo boo - I should have been there. My husband is selling our 2 seated tickets as he is not going to go without me, he is outside Tivoli gardens waiting to hand them over as I write. He now said he would like a GA so if anyone has a spare let me know - he will meet you.
Hi, sadly for me, health is preventing my travel. ?. I’m not thinking about it - I just have to let it go and look to better days. Anyway, if you know anyone that wants a seated ticket, let me know. I’ve posted on ticket page. My husband is looking forward to the brewpubs and we have marked all your suggestions on a map. Best wishes.
Wow.....this is amazing info. Thank you so much for putting this together. I am sure we will try the Danish lunch you have suggested and the other places too. My husband is off work tomorrow so we are going to look at all the places you have written down and see what we could book. Sounds brilliant and I am really looking forward to it even if I can’t get out and about I’ll just get some taxis to places then save myself for U2. I think we will do the giants another time. This is great and I thank you again, a huge help to have some inside knowledge. With the very best of wishes to you. If we are going to be going where you suggested I will post so you can wave to us from your bike!
Hi there. We are travelling on Weds 26th and arrive there about midday ish. Unfortunately not very mobile (but I’m gonna get there!) so I may well find myself not doing any sightseeing and just ending up getting a cab to the stadium on the Saturday. I am travelling with my husband though and he will be out and about. We have a nice air B and B in Osterbro for 4 nights. I’d love to be able to be well enough to get on a boat and do a boat trip - any recommendations with good companies and decent trips?. I had a look on line seems there are a few. I would be able to get a taxi to Nyhaven or somewhere (yes I know public transport is good but needs must at the moment). I have visited Copenhagen before and loved it but it was about 10 years ago. My husband would love to find some nice pubs to have a pint (nothing trendy - he’s not into that) - so any recommendations would be great. Also some good places to eat - again not into trendy cuisine or top notch restaurants or anything like that. I’ve heard it’s quite expensive but we wouldn’t be eating out every meal anyway - we aren’t penny pinching. I’d love to see some of the Thomas Danbo giants but don’t think we’ll be able to hire a car so not sure - maybe have to save that for some other time. My husband is not necessarily one for museums and art galleries - he likes a local bar, a bit of people watching, a stroll around looking at the sights etc. He does like to go to a brewery when he is in a city and I have read mixed things about the Carlsberg brewery or carlsberg experience. Anyway - anything you can throw in will be great and will help our planning! Thank you kindly for posting.
???? II remember this sh***e. Weren’t U2 involved in this? Is that why it’s your fave? I like thecheesy music. “We’re all part of Jackies army... la la la la.” You can’t beat the World Cup songs can you. They don’t seem to do them anymore. Big shame.
I still have the 1982 World Cup song on 7inch vinyl! That was the first World Cup I remember - Kevin Keegan, Viv Anderson, Steve Coppell, Glen Hoddell ...and lots of others I don’t remember. I know the words off by heart ?.,
Have you looked on U2 start.com as well? You can sign up to get email updates about tickets for particular dates you are interested in as fans list them to sell or swap. All face value - none of this scalping malarkey.
