My road trip from northeastern Arizona to Inglewood for the first show at The Forum was a short distance compared to some fans, but still long enough for me ( and my circumstances ). The one thing that might have been better than the actual show was meeting a lot of the other fans. I ended up staying in three different lines most of the day and everyone was very welcoming and friendly. They turned a long day into a fun social gathering.

So for the first time in thirty years I missed a U2 tour. Why? Because Frank Turner announced his show first and arranged a photo pass for me - an act of generosity I'm very grateful for. Bono, where's my photo pass?

There is often a "three song rule" for the media - but right now that's the least obstacle I'm facing.

So I'm going to the show at the Forum and my idea is this a fan report for the website with myself photographing the show and another Zootop writing about it And by photographing, I mean with a DSLR and a PHOTO PASS. The big problem is who to contact and how for the photo pass. Any thoughts, suggestions and a volunteer to do the writing are welcome. And needed.
