  1. I've just realized something that most of U2 fans already know... so it could be a waste of time reading this thread. When I was about 12 or 13 ("All That You Can't Leave Behind") I loathed Bono Vox and I didn't understand why people acclaimed him as a hero or something like it. That shades, his behaviour on stage and all that charity thing... for me it was the grossest bs. Even though I would turn up the radio for U2, I friggin hatED Bono. Once I was watching them at Vertigo tour and then Bono grabbed the tv camera and started filming his crotch... seriously? I turned off the tv. Well,
  2. WOW! 300 million dollars? It is a damn good reason to not split up.
  3. [quote name='nazhira wrote: fluttergirl89']Secret socities exist but just because they're secret it doesn't mean that they want to dominate the world or anything like that. I think we all know that the newspapers don't give us half of the information of what is really going on the world. Wikileaks proofed it, right? I think these informations that aren't told to the great mass run inside these secret socities. I mean, if the Earth is going to be taken by aliens tomorrow, these "special" people will be the first to arrive in a spaceship and there will probably have people waiting for them in

I think Illuminati and Freemasonry
  5. I think Damien showed us the depressing side of "One". I loved most of the covers, except for Damien Rice, The Fray and Snow Patrol. Probably cuz I don't enjoy their songs
  6. Led Zeppelin? It might be a bit complicated to fall in love for new bands...What I love about Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan is that most of the time they would come only with their voice and an acoustic guitar and even so you'd never get bored or distracted.
  7. Yeah, it is sad that bands like Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Smiths.... they only happen once. But I believe that there will have some real genious out there, but I'm quite sure it is not Adele, Lady Dada or Coldplay... MGMT could bring some new crazy tunes again. =P
  8. I hope it is just a crisis on music and that someday it will pass. It seems that the industry is a bit lost with all this internet thing. Record companies are afraid to sign new artists at least they make sure they're going to sells millions of albums and make tons of money to save their arses. So what comes up are those frenetic pop stuff with no vitality on their music. Music is just crazy. If a song plays all the time on the radio, so I loathe it. Even "Hallelujah" (Jeff Buckley version) which I love since when I was 12 but now I jump this track cuz it reminds me of X-Factor and I don't
  9. Yeah, they can't stop now. Maybe they just need some time to "dream it all up again", bcuz it seems that it was a very painful process. I really think they can do it again, but it happens that they probably want to spend more time with their family, plus the music industry/ scene has been a bit depressing these days, so I really hope they're strong willed to reinvent themselves and kick the ass again.
  10. U2 should never split up. There aren't many good bands out there, they need to stay together and keep the fire going on (rock) music. Bono, stop getting your fans desperate. U2 never gets old, everybody knows it. Anyway, if U2 really split up, will you be an orphan music lover or is there any other current band you've been listening to? MGMT, Oh Land, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Razorlight and Kasabian are the bands that I like and they aren't that commercial like The Killers, which I simply love! Coldplay? I like them but "Mylo Xyloto" sounds like "everybody, buy this album and make us the real n
  11. I'm 21, "Electrical Storm" got me into their music.... plus the videoclip is really appealing!
  12. Electrical Storm Original Of The Species Window In The Skies - I think this song is like their second "Beautiful Day"
