  1. Two albums - Three tours all in just over three year's. Hype factor has now worn off from them being around. To be expected that demand will fall and current tour dates reflect this.
  2. Will be released next Christmas season as someone said earlier. Any release and promotion will keep interest generated for further tour dates likely going into early 2019. I attended and as good as the show was I do remember thinking it wouldn't make a great DVD production - The giant screen etc. was great being there but not sure it would be as entertaining to watch as the Innocence or 360 DVD release. Band were on great form musically but it did feel quite static compared to previous tours.
  3. I think for various practical reasons it won't become a trilogy. I think a third in terms of theme and touring might be a stretch to far. That said several artists have started releasing albums of rarities and off cuts directly via their website. Their not chartable but obviously profitable. For a good example of this model see Robbie Williams who has now released two full albums of new material this way. Neither were toured or promoted beyond his website but it's a good idea. In fact I think he said in an interview recently both albums made more money than his commercial releases due to
  4. Tricky one this time round. I think SoE allows them to diversify a little bit. But once they play several off SoE and several from SoI given that the tour covers both albums and once you throw in the usual suspects they are unlikely to drop, it doesn't leave much room in the setlist for many obscurities. Definitely think they will do one track from Pop or an extended snippet akin to how they did Zooropa last time. I think tracks from Boy/October/War & UF will likely all be dropped this time round from regular rotation. IWF and Bad might get in once or twice. I really woul
  5. It might be listed at £250.00 but it won't sell for that...I have seen it frequently on record store websites for £25.00 or less. I think the most expensive one from the memberships gifts is Hasta La Vista, I have seen that go several times for nearly £90-£100. ZOO used to be expensive until they bundled it in with the U22 premium package and more were around.
  6. Shame they didn't get one of the shot of Bono with Edge in his hand during UTEOTW. I always thought that was a great shot.
  7. I expected something to do with the broadcasted Paris gig...DVD or Audio something like that. I wonder if what happened in Paris and the delayed gig was the reason the gift announcement was delayed and then maybe abandoned for whatever reason. I'm speculating here of course I was just ready to put my house on it being something to do with that. I think my favourite was definitely From The Ground Up as it has a bit of everything (book and music), U22 was a close second. Didn't like the North Side book and the vinyl I can take it or leave it to be honest.
  8. Yikes going to cost me a fortune to frame them! I could do it myself but a local shop does it really well they look great but it's just expensive. I think I like the waves and live one more than the other two so might just do those. Cool gift it's a bit different although as I said not sure why the delay in announcing I kind of get the impression something else was maybe in mind and they they did this late in the day. (Personal opinion)
  9. I'm not disappointed nor excited really! Though considering the long delay etc. I kinda thought it may be something a little more inspiring.
  10. 60x45cm is not huge. It's a good size but probably not as big as your imagining.
  11. Mine is still 31/1. Can't believe it would be delayed even further they surely could say what it is at least! I mean when will we even receive it?!
  12. I just got the following message from CS: Thank you for contacting us. Since the new subscriber gift has not been released, we will be holding back the gift for all fans that are renewing. Once the 2016 gift is released it will be shipped to you. We apologize for any confusion.
  13. I renewed with just 30 minutes left to spare. Just now email CS so they send me the new gift.
  14. Hmmm mine is up today but not sure whether to bother and just see what the next gift is. I never use the 25% off, the past couple of gifts have been OK but not really my cup of tea (U22 and From The Ground Up were great though) and I didn't struggle to get any GA tickets in the general sale. Tough decision...
  15. Will we get an option soon to purchase the "TBD" Subscription Gift? I seem to remember there was such an option last year.
