  3. Looking for one Pitch 2 ticket for today's show.....
  4. Hi Bonomandela, if it's not yet sold I'll buy it today!
  5. Hi guys, Collecting from RZ shortly, forgot to print confirmations. Am I good with showing the email / Ticketmaster App? cheers!
  6. How did you get so close to the B stage AND the main stage? I would have thought that if your RZ for the B stage and you get that great rail (or close) position, you can forget getting anywhere near the main stage.. even if RZ gets you access to GA.. HOW is this possible !!
  7. Is that edge on the far left, on the main stage at the top of the RZ? If so it's GREAT news , thought they bugger off to the right of the catwalk after the B stage bit is done..
  8. Thought that might be the case alright!! Now torn, have RZ tickets, do i go for the B stage or main stage to catch Noel and the main act (semi) up close or trade it all in for an incredible spot in the RZ for 3 songs!!
  9. Nice one mich40.. Taking it you mean main stage for his whole set, guess it's only the royalty that get use of the B stage, haha
  10. guys, how was noel gallagher? can anyone tell me where he performed from (main stage or b stage). Have RZ for tomorrow but really want to see Noel up close too if at all possible.. Cheers!
  11. Hey mate, Definitely going to both, hope you managed to get sorted for the weekend!
  12. Amazing, thanks for posting. At the b stage, can anyone tell us who's been, who is usually at the nearest 'branch' to RZ? Is there a chance that we'll be looking at the bands' backs for those songs?
  13. Just spoke to CS again, looks like the tickets *have* been sent but apparently I'm not to worry as they can cancel the barcode on the old collectors ticket. I've filled out the change of address form on the Ticketmaster site with utility bill etc - apparently it still showing the old address on their system. They're emailing someone senior who they think will get it sorted after the bank holiday weekend - let's hope there's no issues
  14. Hi guys, Hoping you can help. I booked tickets on my CC which was linked to my old address. After a panic when I realised I hadn't updated my delivery address I checked the TM site to great relief showing that they had not dispatched my tickets yet. I phone Ticketmaster customer service who told me not to worry, fill out the form, upload utility bill etc and they'll send them to the new address and she would put a 'hold' on the tickets so that they don't go to the old address inadvertently. I then received an email last week saying this was an error and the tickets HAD been sent out. When I asked them to cancel them, they seemed to miss the point and assume that the recipient in my old address will simply send them back. What can I do? I says in two places on the website that the tickets have not been dispatched, the customer service lady promised me they'd hold on sending the tickets. It seems like they should be able to cancel the tickets sent in error and re-issue new tickets to my new address. Has anyone had any experience with this? I'd really appreciate it.
  15. Was this for the Dublin gig? If you went via U2.com for the Dublin gig and clicked on Red Zone (on Thursday) there was no where to enter your code and no red zone on sale. They were on sale (presumably) in the GA link *without* the need to enter the pre-sale code. The issue with selling RZ without needing a code happened all over the world it seems, the issue with TM not selling RZ on the RZ link seems to be unique to TM Ireland...
  16. Monica: Agree it doesn't seem to be the fairest system, it's probably why they've adapted the stage this time out so that when you're in the RZ you don't need to go elsewhere. RZ as a concept is amazing for people who don't fancy queuing, want a great position and can do that while giving back to charity. It should be licensed to *every* major act. No more golden circles, a red zone for every high demand show on earth with proceeds going to charity, half the money going to the band nominated charity and the other half going to the local charity voted for by the bands fans in each city.
  17. The thing is... I had Red Zone for Croke Park 360 tour and while it was incredible and we got a great spot by the rail - we only seemed to be able to get into the 'Outside ring' and not the 'inner red zone'. I still have no idea why that was. I guess the red zone only got you so far and if you wanted inside the area with the bridges etc that was the 'pit' and you would have had to have queued all day? The 360 RZ was what you're calling "the outer ring". There was no "inner red zone"--that was 360's version of the GA inner circle/ellipse/etc. as on previous tours. That said, with RZ, you could just leave the RZ and then go into the inner ring along with regular GA--this is what I usually did with 360 RZ tickets. This meant that with RZ, you didn't have to queue all day, because RZ and regular GA were let in at about the same time. Indeed, with RZ you didn't have to actually enter the RZ at all--once you got to the floor, you could simply go into the entrance for the inner circle (rather than the RZ) to begin with. With the JT RZ, though, we're right up against the rail(s) to begin with. Thanks for clearing that up man - really really helpful! I'm a little gutted I didn't know this back in '09! I'm guessing we would have have to be there pretty early at the RZ entrance to get into GA / 'inner ring'. For RZ this time around, do you think we'll need to arrive early at all (by RZ standards = as gates open) to get a good spot by the rail? Where do you predict the best spot will be, rail by the stage or rail connecting the stages?
  18. The reason why you couldn't get them was that the U2.com site pointed to the promo page with the list of links. Like any normal person I asssumed that the red zone tickets would be on sale on the link marked 'Red Zone'. I had an inkling something was wrong at 9.05 when it stopped doing the fake 'searching for tickets' thing and went straight to hawking seatwave. I later realized that no only were they not for sale on the correct link - 'Red zone' - they were on the general admission link - you didn't even need a pre-sale code to get them. Raging is not the word. Just about managed to get tickets for pitch 2 by a stroke of luck but gutted I missed out on Dublin RZ Someone at Ticketmaster dublin fcked up royally here.
  19. It seems like a massive improvement on Pitch 1 based on the Map? I wonder what time you would need to be there with your Pitch 2 ticket to get right up the front by the stage?
  20. Was it ever possible to get into the 'inner circle' with RedZone tickets or is that just for people who queue up for GA at 6am?
  21. You going to both gigs? I managed to get Pitch 2 for Dublin and Red Zone for London, am torn which one to go to!
  22. Hi all, Am new to the forums (long time U2 fan) Any ideas how to change your display name or community name here? Thanks
  24. On the off chance that anyone would like to swap - I have 2 x Red Zone for the London 2 gig and would do a straight swap for RZ dublin..
  25. 2 x RZ for london 2 - would swap for london 1 RZ OR Croke Park RZ. Let me know if interested, cheers!
