I have sent numerous emails to this web site about this concern. I have received responses, but only to post on this area of the website. I was told by the North American fan rep. that they are not allowed to speak to fans (the NA fan rep can not speak to fans). The NA American fan rep told me in an email: "You can post your concern to the Zootopia, The U2 group members periodically review questions/ comments on this site. I don't need a U2 member to respond, but someone from this organization/ group. Some man keeps texting me asking me to buy gift cards (a man that resembles Bono. I do admit I got sucked in and bought one. I was told the Apple Gift cards are exchanged for food clothing/ ect for his Foundation. I read on the internet that this was a scam after the fact.. He keeps contacting me to buy another today. He is relentless. Maybe it is legitimate. I thought it was again when we chatted again. His text messages are at one time written well, and another in AI type language, and in many times in broken English, we call in the United States. I am going ignore these messages. All day today...I mean all day.... He is quite convincing. I have health issues. I am on my own here, no family support. I am unemployed. My job was eliminated by the Trump administration (federal job). I am far from rich. My Ford Escape nearly exploded last week (the coolant flowed into the engine. If I was on the freeway and couldn't get off, I would be dead. Luckily, I was just driving home from the grocery store. Enough sad stories. I know you don't want to post this on your site, maybe it is legitimate, but its a very odd way to try and get 150.00 USD dollars off someone. I would appreciate a response from someone in your organization (either way legitimate or scarm). The gift cards are said to support Paul Hewson's foundation. I don't need a long email, just is this legitimate or scam, just a sentence, or few words. An email with a brief sentence is fine either way. Than you in advance for your response. Days of Ash was released on February 18th (Ash Wednesday). Exactly 40 days later on Good Friday, we get Easter Lily. Another 41 days and we have The Ascension. So...what if Days of Ash and Easter Lily are part of a triptych? A three part, self-contained focus on spiritual themes of repentance, reflection, resurrection, and ultimately ascension. And then there is the 'ellipsis' at the end of COEXIST (I Will Bless the Lord at All Times?) that hints at something more to come. The band has described the long awaited Songs of Ascent as a spiritual, meditative album. It's been hinted at as being more of a concept album. What if we've been hearing Songs of Ascent and the final 6 songs will be released on The Ascension? And 3 albums times 6 songs is 18, a number associated with Chai in Jewish tradition which means 'Life'. 18 is also a symbol of blessing, good fortune, and longevity. And to speculate on the nature of a third EP...will it be more experimental like COEXIST? (Yours Eternally seemed more aligned with Easter Lily than Days of Ash. So is COEXIST an indication of what will come in the next EP?). Will we get Songs of Ascent on May 14th? My father is 58 years old and has been a devoted fan of U2 for as long as I can remember. Your music has been a part of his life, his memories, and our shared moments growing up. Some of my strongest childhood memories are connected to your songs playing at home. Recently, our lives changed in a devastating way. My father has been diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer. He underwent surgery on January 2nd, but the tumor could not be fully removed. Shortly after starting radiotherapy and chemotherapy, he suffered a severe stroke. We were told he might not survive. But somehow, he did. Today, he is fighting every day. He has started eating again, and he is learning to walk once more. His speech is still very affected, but he is here — and that means everything to me. Doctors have given us a limited time, and it breaks my heart knowing he may not be able to attend your next tour in 2027. I am writing with no expectations, only hope. I'm hoping there's someone here who can help! I've been a .com subscriber off and on for about 15 years, more on than off for the last five years, and I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten any subscriber emails since 2023. I thought that was because they hadn't sent any (and I'm on some sort of standard U2 non-subscriber marketing list, so I was getting sporadic announcements, which I thought were subscriber emails). Furthermore, after looking into it, I think I might only ever have gotten just a fraction of subscriber email (for example, I'm pretty sure I've never gotten a subscription reminder notice, which has always annoyed me--but I thought it was done intentionally to not harass fans into re-uppping). After checking with some friends, it turns out they all get reminder emails! Anyway, I'd like to fix this, and I contacted support. The support team told me that since I'm a subscriber, I'm on the email list and by default receive emails, and the system doesn't produce logs to verify that. I've checked trash, spam, etc., but they all delete after 30 days so I couldn't be positive emails weren't disappearing that way (I also confirmed that my email was correct). I asked my subscriber friends to let me know the next time they got an email so I could be vigilant (lol) and yesterday, they got an email about the 2026 gift and again, I got nothing! I'm wondering if I accidentally unsubscribed myself or unchecked some box at some point and now have no way to resubscribe. It’s such a beautiful track, and it’s a shame we only have the movie version and some live bootlegs from the 360° Tour. Since he has been a teenager and has been listening to U2 for the first time there has been no other band for him. The walls of his childhood room at his parents home are still covered with posters of U2 and there is almost no record he doesn't own. Even his complete back is covered with a tattoo of the members of U2 and several of their great and inspiring lyrics. Yesterday he has been telling me a story of him travelling to Dublin and visiting Bonos house. He has been so bold to just ring the bell as he has been wanting to ask to get some pictures signed he has been taken at a concert. The security guard of course has sent him away, but has given him an address in Dublin to hand in the pictures to get them signed and send back home. My love did as he has been told, but unfortunately never received the signed pictures. In 2019 he has been diagnosed with cancer. We have met a year later when he has been in between the chemotherapy. Now 6 years later he is still fighting for his life. In the next months he will have to go under another experimental treatment as other treatments will not help anymore. So now I would really like to get him these personalized autographs to make his wish come true and for some extra motivation to stay strong during the treatments.
