  1. a video for my king Bono Meu singelo presente para meu rei amado Bono Vox. Uma das músicas mais linda da festa, naquelas noites maravilhosas no Morumbi. Bono, I love you forever!
  2. hello from St. Louis - if anyone's planning to travel here for the show, it is on a Saturday night, let me know if I can be of any help with questions on where to stay, eat, visit, etc.. Good news is the Cardinals are not in town that weekend and, of course, no NFL football anymore.
  3. I am looking for 2 ga tickets for the st Louis show. I have a 16 yr old that is a huge fan and by the time we went to get tickets all the ga was gone. However you can buy them in StubHub for almost twice the price? If anyone has any to sale at face value please let me know. Thanks!
  4. Hi all - any idea if we're okay to bring a camera along to the Twickenham shows? Thinking of a non-detachable lens type but it still looks like a camera. Cheers
  5. Tuesday, June 20th, 6:00 - 7:30am: Ticket exchanges/sales @ Morgan Boulevard Metro Station If you still have extra GA tickets to sell or still need to buy GA tickets, fans will be meeting at Morgan Boulevard Metro Station's “Kiss and Ride” drop-off curb area for exchanges/sales. (There will be no numbering or lining up at this point. FedEx Field stadium security will be issuing wrist bands and numbers to fans who have verifiable GA tickets beginning at 8:00am, so it is imperative that you have a ticket if you wish to secure a spot in the Pre-Screen Queue.) Tickets can of course be sold/purchased throughout the day, we simply advise you to get tickets at this meeting before the Pre-Screen Queue starts if you want a good spot. 7:30 - 8:00am: Getting to FedEx Field After the meet-up, fans will be walking straight to the stadium. To walk from the Morgan Boulevard Metro Station to FedEx Field takes about 20 minutes. Fans can also take Uber or Lyft to the perimeter of the stadium’s property. (FedEx Field does have a special Uber drop-off area near the stadium, but that will not open until 1:00pm.) (http://www.redskins.com/fedexfield/parking-and-directions.html)
  6. What do you think about this? Yes or no? October 2017? Next year?
  7. Info all posted here - I'll be at the show, so you'd enter with me, as the rules are now: http://zootopia.u2.com/topic/35112-2-presale-tickets-available-seats-pittsburgh-june-7-2017/
  8. Gutted I can not make it as I haven't missed a tour since 1987 but I have a spare ticket for Amsterdam if anyone is interested.
  9. Hey, guys! Just looking at the Levi's stadium website for the show: http://www.levisstadium.com/event/2017-05-17-u2-the-joshua-tree-tour/ "Fan Club Ticket Holders Fans may enter the stadium through Intel Gate A, Toyota Gate F or Dignity Health Gate C. Please bring the credit card used to purchase your tickets and a valid government issued photo ID to the venue. The gates listed above will open at 5pm PT. Your event ticket is automatically set for credit card admittance only. " The gates listed here are different than the gate listed for "GA Floor Seat Ticket Holders", which they list as gate B. I wonder how this will play out?
  10. Section 235, Row N, Seats 5 & 6 I also have seats 1 & 2, so we will meet outside before the show and you'll enter with me with my credit card verification. Asking face value - I accept PayPal, PM me to transact. I've attached a screen cap of the Ticketmaster page to verify price paid. It seems this is the only way we can do this as we are unable to print off presale tickets or even sell them through Ticketmaster. I've spoken with both Ticketmaster and U2.com. Ticketmaster blames U2, U2 blames Ticketmaster. Fun dance, eh?
  11. Any rehearsal gossip for Van? Please tell me Bono not riding a bike or anything....
  12. Hey Y'all my 2 friends and i will be traveling to Pasadena/LA for the rose bowl show in may any good hotels to stay at or one where most of the fans will be staying? cheers
  13. So... I've been thinking about how out of character it is for U2 to look back like this... I mean come on - many on here will remember Bono's mantra on Popmart: "Kiss the future, fuck the past". I am wondering if it's a way to allow them to fast forward a bit at on the next leg of I+E. That could be the "Experience" leg, if you will. Assuming we ever see that album, and I'm not holding my breath, lol. So - when I+E was announced, the band originally wanted to play one night of old tunes followed by one night of newer stuff. Now - and this is my own interpretation - that COULD be seen as pre-Achtung stuff and post-Achtung stuff. Right? It's well documented that when they got into the nitty gritty of rehearsals and tour planning, U2 realised there were too many classics that they felt they just could not play on one night only - either the innocent or the experienced audience might feel screwed over if they booked tickets for the "wrong" night from their point of view. Now - disregarding the comments last week about how the world has changed with recent political upheavals and so on... let's just imagine for a minute that the U2 team is planning an album release and the associated tour - likely an extension of the last tour. I could imagine a desire to do two things: 1). Continue indoors - the shows were great, everybody loved them 2). Play the Experienced songs... more stuff from 1990 onwards, the more electronic complicated and musically interesting stuff. It sort of fits the theme. Yes, I know they played lots of this stuff on I+E, but there is a *lot* more that could be played. The whole Pop album, for starters - actually that won't happen, disregard :-) Now, imagine somebody in the room floats the above idea. Then some pragmatist in the group - possibly in the rhythm section - says "no way lads, we just can't do it - we have millions of fans who want to hear With Or Without You again. And by the way, sing the bloody SHINE LIKE STARS bit Bono". Then the manager notes that they can't stay indoors, there's too much demand for tickets. "We need to go outdoors or we'll be playing 5 nights in every city again. We'll never get to Australia at that rate". So, some bright spark floats the idea of a Joshua Tree anniversary tour. They go all out, play stadia to big crowds and lash out all old-school crowd-pleasers. Every night a guaranteed sellout. Then, afterwards, release Songs of Experience and immediately do another tour - this time indoors again, but make it very public that it's going to be a tour that focuses on the post-Joshua Tree era. One for the experienced fans as opposed to the old fans - the ones who have seen those old tunes a million times. I would personally love that Experience tour, it would be nirvana for me. Any thoughts? It would mean the Joshua Tree tour has no songs from after, say, Rattle and Hum. That would also be kind of cool, and true to the title of the tour.
  14. I don't post here often, but I felt I had to share these.... I always hoped that better footage than the old Rattle and Hum outtakes would become available. These are excellent. Enjoy!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4NnA6P5qE8 Thanks so much to whoever found these
