Sphere tour now movie too expensive

I have been to every tour since Pop Mart and have appreciated the fact U2 a lil ways kept their ticket prices affordable, until the Sphere shows.  I realize it is a new venue and new concert format but I have to think the venue had some say in the high ticket prices.  I have always enjoyed being able to purchase the concert video later.  Again, I can’t afford to pay $79 to see the film plus the cost of travel.  The concept sounded so cutting edge, I truly believe if there is a way of putting the show on video MANY fans would buy it.  Please consider it!

It is expensive when compared to going to a normal film.  The pricing is in line with the "Sphere Experience" events they do on non-concert days.  The regular 'experience' is 45ish minutes of playing around with the humanoid robots, avatar scanners, hologram art, and sound system demos and then they screen a 60-ish minute film called Postcard From Earth.  I don't know the exact statistics, but do know they are doing pretty brisk business with those things, they (Sphere, not U2) make roughly $1m a day from it.

My understanding is that V-U2 was funded by Sphere and made with their custom cameras specifically to be shown at the venue, so personally my hopes are not high that they will release a home video of that anytime soon.  However I do hold out pretty high hopes for a normal screen format video release at some point.  All those clips we say U2 posting on social media, I've got to believe they've got more than enough footage to put something together, either to release commercially or as a future subscriber gift. I'd love to see it!.
