1. heartland

2. stay (so faraway so close!)

3. bad/streets/until the end of the world (its a tie for 3rd place!!!)

Ultraviolet, Please, The Unforgetable Fire album, Indian Summer Sky, Man and a woman, still haven't found, so cruel, Mercy, Stay, lemon, etc...

it's hard to choose to name only a few...

This is a tough one because there are far tooooo many to choose from. I guess I will choose mine based on standout combinations of great music, meaningful lyrics and how they transcend in the live setting (i.e. their most extraordinary):

 

1. Where the streets have no name

2. New Years Day

3. Miss Sarajevo

 

I also think Kite is worthy of mention - it's the best song the band has written this decade!

No, in every u2 song there is at the''least'' one brilliant caption which makes the song and all their song have nice lyrics , I guess they have a way with expression and wisdom with it.....................long live u2 the Irish ....
