I haven’t yet received the vinyls from 2017, why would I renew for 2018?!?!

When I call your customer support to find out where they are I’ve been holding for over 20 minutes. Your whole organisation is a bit crap.

Vinyl getting sent in December according to an automated response some have got recently from u2.com

thanks for the reply.

that sounds a bit pathetic, takes them a whole year to send out a vinyl, and I bet 90% of the subscribers don't even have a vinyl player. U2.com tried to claim vinyl is making a come-back, I'm not fooled by that.

Going straight on to eBay when I receive it. Let's hope 2018 brings something a bit more relevant.

Hello, not sure where to post this. I've seen this question before and cannot find the answer anymore: Under my account info- for my user information, the email status says: Not Confirmed. What does this mean? Does it have anything to do with purchasing tickets or with the subscriber gift? My subscription is active til '19 and I have a green setup complete box. (I'm just trying to do my part to avoid any potential disasters.)

I have that too on my account- but I did receive a code for the presale with the ‘not confirmed’ email. I’m not sure what that means because I do receive emails from U2.com.

I just changed my password and now it says confirmed...weird. I've received plenty of emails from them before as well.

Can anyone tell me how you receive your free songs of experience album after buying concert tickets? Is this  being handled through ticketmaster? Is it a download or can you get a physical copy? I’ve not recieved any details on this despite buying tickets last week

I got an email for both shows I got tickets for, and, yes, they were sent by Ticketmaster.

It is a physical copy; I didn't see a download choice in those emails.

It was about 7 to 10 days after the fact that I got mine - I would think you would get one any day now.

Repeated calls and emails to U2.com support asking about the status of posting out the 2017 subscriber Vinyls have gone unanswered. I am sick of their arrogance. Please file a formal complaint for misleading advertising here: https://www.asa.org.uk/make-a-complaint.html this is the Advertising Standards Authority website which has the power to issue fines against companies taking advantage, the more complaints they receive the quicker they will force U2.com's incompetent team to act. There is no point in us renewing and paying more money for a 2018 subscription if U2.com can't even be bothered to fulfill its obligations for the 2017 subscriptions.

They are beginning their tour here in North America, then clearly they are going to UK/ROI/Europe to hit the summer festival season. After that, they will either go to another region of the planet, or (much more likely) right back to North America in the autumn to hit all the cities that they may miss on the first leg. So, don't think, if your city is not on the first leg, that they won't ever be coming. You're right, they would never leave out Phoenix - if they don't come on the first leg, they will be there on future NA legs. They have followed this pattern for a very long time. So, sooner or later, they're coming! :)

 

Thx. ? Indeed, that is the pattern. I suppose I’ll just be anxiously awaiting until they finally announce “of course we cannot forget about the Arizona Deserts!” I think I’ve become spoiled by them hitting us on each leg over the years. But, I’ve total faith that it will happen (at the very least) once for this tour. I just need to find my patience.? I think I left it behind the afternoon sun-stream.

I got an email this afternoon from U2.com giving me a new presale code:

We understand you had difficulty securing tickets in the week 1 presales for the band’s 2018 shows.

As we emailed you last week, we are inviting you to take part in the opening day of presales for recently announced 2nd shows in Las Vegas (May 12th), Chicago (May 23rd), Montreal (June 6th), Philadelphia (June 14th), Washington (June 18th), Boston (June 22nd) and New York City (June 26th).

Below is a unique presale access code you can use for presales starting tomorrow, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28 at 10am local. Presales end on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 5pm local

I was trying on the app and online and wasn't able to get GAs to MSG. I also had no luck in the first presales (I wanted Newark but would have been fine with either MSG show or Uniondale). Ticket access is the only reason I'm a member, so I'm really bummed. How do I go about canceling my membership? I remember that was an option for people who had no luck in the presales.

keep trying... I was able to get 2 GA tickets and I have friend who were able to get them via the app...

Got 1 GA and 1 Red Zone using new code that was emailed to me yesterday (not texted). I had not used my code from last week (which I only got when I called customer service). Even though I am in innocence group, I was able to use this new code today.

There were new codes? I haven't used the one I got for 1st presale and haven't received a new one... I will not buy tickets for North America but now I'm a bit worried if this will mean no code for Europe ...

Any help?

Right, but I have "setup completed" due to the confusion back on Nov 1. The support team of U2com said that it does not matter but I should not use the code. I haven't used it. But if for the 2nd round of presales were new codes and I haven't received one it seems that the code I got was used but not by me...and then I doubt that I will get a code for Europe...sorry to write this here but I hope now you understand why I'm worried
