Hot off of Facebook - "U2 360 Tour"!!!
A Good friend of this page, Ria, confirmed some very good U2 news tonight at The Killers gig in Amsterdam. She met Stuart Morgan (Adam's Guitar Tech) ... who also works for the Killers ...
Ria asked if he had news about the next U2 tour ... He CONFIRMED twice to her that there WILL be a tour next year! :-) ♥ More news end of this year according to him. He also confirmed that a new album will be released ! (Thanks Ria for this)

Oh great!
I just don´t know how they´re working... Now we know that Larry spent the last weekend in NY. It´s hard to see them in Dublin at the same time.

Knowing them, they'll probably wrap up at the studio in the South of France this summer.

Knowing what they have been like over the past 20 years or so i'd take this with a massive pinch of salt not saying it wasn't said but i believe the Fatman is going by the nickname Pinocchio nowadays???....

They don't have to be in Dublin to work on a new album. Fez was the last location, then Dublin and finished off in London.

The Edge was heard in an interview saying the cd was set to drop in sept. Has anyone else heard this news? Now hearing that they are going to start touring next yr? Hmmm.......There is nothing I would love more. Thx in advance for any input!
Adam said in a recent interview that they were still aiming for a release by the end of the year, so I guess that's where it still stands!

The only confirmed thing I've heard recently was only about the album release for possibly 2013, That Interview with Adam in Hot Press Magazine He was quoted in saying...
"We very much want to have a record out by the end of the year, September, October, November; (he is speaking of 2013:) that kind of time. We're working with Dangermouse who's a smart guy. He's on it; he's excited"
If anything is going to happen, we should hear about it this summer, for pre-orders, and then not till then would we know about a tour, I think!

You are correct! And I believe Larry 100%! I also believe Larry will kick Bono's ass if it ain't ready by then too!
