U2 will make an appearance as musical guests on Saturday Night Live on the show's 35th season opener when it returns on September 26.

Actress Megan Fox and U2 will give "Saturday Night Live" an attention-getting season opener when it returns on Sept. 26.

U2's third appearance on the NBC show comes just after two sold-out gigs at Giants Stadium on Sept. 23-24. Fox is known for her breakout role in"Transformers."

 

"Saturday Night Live" will open with four new shows in a row. Ryan Reynolds is the host on Oct. 3, with musical guest Lady Gaga. Drew Barrymore andGerard Butler are hosts in the following two weeks. Regina Spektor and Shakira bring the music.

"Saturday Night Live" is entering its 35th season. It received a big boost with last year's political season, and Tina Fey's imitation ofSarah Palin.

Stand-by tickets are distributed at 7am on the 49th st. side of 30 Rockefeller Plaza on the mornings of the tapings. You may choose a stand-by ticket foreither the 8pm dress rehearsal or the 11:30pm live taping. Aside from minimal, necessary breaks, all stand-by line members must remain in line at alltimes. Stand-by tickets are limited to one per person and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. NBC staff reserves the right to revoke ornot issue any ticket to anyone in line if proper procedures are not followed. Please arrive no later than 7:15pm for the dress rehearsal or 10:45pm for thelive show. A stand-by ticket does not guarantee admission and no one under the age of 16 will be admitted.
