Although one part of the assignment wants us to include a graph. Not sure how to do those on a computer just yet, but I'm sure I'll work it out.

Perhaps https://www.wolframalpha.com/ could help you on that... another good option could be SageMath (https://www.sagemath.org/)...

You have my admiriation for trying.  No way would I do that.  I'm good at math but it took two years to figure out how to quote someone on this website. I'd run!  😂    Good luck, Pad.  You still enjoying the olympics?  I sure am, which is my good thing.

Congratulations to Finland! 🇫🇮

Their Men’s Hockey team won their very first Gold Medal 🥇! (And they beat the ROC to do it, which made it even better. 😎)

The British team won a gold medal this morning in the curling, which makes a good finish to the event  :)

I hand-write most of my Maths coursework in a good old-fashioned exercise book, so I only need to type up the assignments, but it's good to have learnt something new. I've been using Word for years and had never realised the newer versions could do mathematical notation. Luckily, our module website has instructions, so now I *nearly* know what I'm doing

I have a scanner, so if creating a graph on the computer proves too difficult, I can always do it on paper and scan that in.

Congrats.  Curling is huge in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

I got to the grocery before the crush of 5 pm.  We are a few hours away from what could turn into a very nasty ice storm. I have lots of food and don't need to drive for a couple days if need be.

Awesome!  I think mine is waiting for me at home (I’m a pilot for Southwest Airlines, flying home to Dallas from California tomorrow).

Have you watched it yet?

I came very close to going to see this tour, did not and regret it.

Well, then you owe it to yourself to get this! If it is too pricey (and it is a little bit more than I would have preferred it to be), the original DVD is great too. (However, it may lead to your regretting not seeing the tour even more - it was one of the best shows I saw in the 90s, especially in a stadium (which aren’t my favorite places to see shows); only U2’s stadium shows are in the same class as this show.)

I haven’t - it will probably be a weekend treat for me. 😎

I actually saw the Pulse tour in San Antonio at the Alamodome, not all that long after it was finished. If my memory serves me correctly, I think it was the first show by a major artist there (although I could be misremembering because The Rolling Stones and The Eagles also played there in 1994; however, I’m pretty sure PF was first.) When U2 was on their POPMart tour, I also saw them at the Alamodome - in fact, I did the full Texas tour for POPMart: Dallas at the Cotton Bowl on the first leg, SA & Houston on the second North American leg (Alamodome and Astrodome, respectively). Good times! 👍 (Obviously, I was living in TX at the time (San Antonio).)
