I got accepted into University!

One of my best mates who has been having  chemo and surgery for a nasty cancer had his post treatment scan results today and has been declared cancer free. It doesn’t get much better than that .

I convinced my dad to stay home today, because there are lots cases of coronavirus in their town!

I hear ya because it seems as if it were yesterday I was teaching my eldest nephew Aaron how  to say "Bono" and the  "BOOM" now he's going to be 22 in November!!

It was yesterday that my nephew used to smile and say, "Hi, Uncle David.".  I just visited and played with his four year old son for a few days.  I'm a great uncle so it's all good.  Besides it going wherever it does...time has sped up quite a bit.  It seems like yesterday that the 360 presale took place and now it's going on two weeks after the show.   sigh

I hear ya because I caught myself reflecting on what I was doing a month ago which was getting those final preparations ready for my trip over to Seattle.

I went to a small art gallery/shop in the local shopping centre. There were some really beautiful, inspiring pieces - including one by a friend of mine. I also had a chat with the lady at the till about how I was just starting to experiment with making my own art and she was very encouraging.

You are going to Seattle and this makes you feel old how?   A month ago?  That's like nor remembering what I had for breakfast with me.   lol

Oh it's not just that, I feel "old" whenever I reflect on  anything  in the past especially those regrets of situations I could've handled better (nicer hotel, packed more efficiently, etc) including some  stuff at home.

In hindsight,, the pros out weigh the cons because Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry made life's disappointments, feeling old, etc. vanish for 2-3 hours & thank-you Manohlive for helping me to realize it.  :)

I found (and bought) the vinyl singles of Two Hearts Beat As One and New Year's Day while out browsing round some shops today :D

:2HBa1:   :NYD:

Always amuses me that releases from this era are older than I am

I shall look after them as well as I can.
