Subscriber funghi Posted February 15, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) Clarky, the cited words are yours, am I wright? If this was a german forum, you would have been banned immediately Not acceptable from Germany funghi Edited February 15, 2015 by funghi
Subscriber clarky46 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Subscriber Share Posted February 15, 2015 Funghi think you've got a bit of a problem with the past I was meaning Adolf noreen who is a Swedish linguist. Which if you don't know what that is,it means the scientific study of language. Because I think max didn't get the words which I had written. Hope this cleans up any problem you had with Mr noreens name funghi.
Subscriber funghi Posted February 15, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted February 15, 2015 Clarky, thank you for clarification. I don't have problems with the past and I don't know the Swedish linguist. May next time you'll be citing don't put the words out of the context, so that anyone could be mislead. I was just a bit shocked and you may admit that Germans may be a bit more sensitive about their past, at least, they should.... Nothing to worry about any longer
Subscriber Anjana Posted February 15, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted February 15, 2015 Not sure what has gone on here or what's been said other than the reference above. Think most people would assume a German connection with that name not a Swedish linguist - perhaps I am showing my cultural ignorance there but that name usually has only one connotation for, I expect, the majority. It's good to clear these things up if there has been a genuine misunderstanding. It is a provocative name, even in these times let alone the past.
