Bomb 12. Behind 13. SOI... Would've thrown in Passengers on 4th place (still a U2 album to me) but whatever.
Subscriber Grande 3:16 Posted September 25, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) I can't list them in an order of best to worst, just recommendations if I was trying to get someone uninitiated into U2 Must have (10/10): Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby Highly recommended (8-9/10): Zooropa, Pop, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb Recommended (7/10): Boy, October, War, Unforgettable Fire To pad out the collection (6/10): Passengers, No Line On The Horizon Meh (5/10 or less): All That You Can't Leave Behind, Songs Of Innocence Mofo would probably be my 3rd favourite song though (1st The Fly, 2nd All I Want Is You) Edited September 25, 2015 by Grande 3:
Subscriber Grande 3:16 Posted September 25, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) This week I've been thinking about if there was a Pop cover album like AHK-Toong BAY-bi Covered. I'd have: "Discotheque" covered by Lady Miss Kier (from Deeelite) "Mofo" covered by The Prodigy Edited September 25, 2015 by Grande 3:

The Prodigy......Furthermore I think the only valid cover on AB-covers album is Jack White's... however, it's painful anyway...

If we're talking a Pop covers album, all I can say is...Arctic Monkeys doing If You Wear That Velvet Dress. I would totally go with that. Subscriber HansasHeroes1991 Posted September 25, 2015 Subscriber Share Posted September 25, 2015 (edited) I don't think Pop would be in my top five or top ten list of favorite albums. It would be higher than No Line On The Horizon, which has some great songs...it just doesn't work as an album for me. I think my Top Five albums by U2 would be... Achtung Baby The Joshua Tree Zooropa Boy Songs Of Innocence That last one comes as somewhat of surprise to me, actually. I just find that I'm putting it on a lot more than I initially figured I would. I think a slight re-ordering of its contents and the addition of The Crystal Ballroom would make it just a little bit better than it already is. War and The Unforgettable Fire are honorable mentions... Edited September 25, 2015 by HansasHeroes1991
