Blade Runner is less of an action film than it is a a I-go noir/existential detective story of sorts.

If you watch it, check out The Final Cut edition.

It has certain things excised from the original which were disruptive and/or unnecessary, in my opinion.

 

It stars Harrison Ford.

Zoo TV was created with a number of elements in mind,

especially Blade Runner's cityscape,

which remind many people of Tokyo.

 You know there's Japanese inspiration on The Unforgettable Fire sessions too....Check out Yoshino Blossom and Boomerang I and II   and I think it's not a far-out thing to say The Unforgettable Fire-the song itself and Disappearing Act (the first song they experimented on at Slane Castle) are Japanese - influenced too....You know..the Chicago Exhibition , their visit in Japan during the War tour........

   After I previously bought some of Eno's albums....Now Ambient 3 and Music for Films-Vol 3 are on my list-plus MORE !!!!!......Listened to some more Eno - the other day....Really great music to channel and create inspiration of all kinds....
