I have booked my flights and hotel already in the hope of getting tickets tomo. Havent missed a tour in nearly 20 years. I am confused. Does anyone know the difference between Pitch 1 and pitch 2 at Croke Park on ticketmaster? Do u think during the presale you will be allocated either Pitch 1 or 2 tickets or is it first come first served general admission shenanigins? Any help much appreciated.

I mentioned this same issue in another thread...I suspected due to the how elaborate it was on the seating chart there might be two tiers of pricing.

If not its a barrier thats planned to be there and shouldn't be on the seating plan as its giving a sale impression.

I initially thought this was just the pit barrier, like all previous shows...

However - Coldplay are also playing Croke Park this year.

Their stadium diagram shows a similarly divided standing area. In their case, the pitch is divided into 3 sections.

They are then selling 3 different categories of standing ticket - Pitch Standing 1, 2 and 3.

Each of the 3 categories are priced the same.

Based on this, I'm now thinking it will be the same for U2. It does seem strange mind you.

I am chasing down the days of fear
Chasing down a dream before it disappears
I am aching to be somewhere near,
Your voice is all I hear
