Rose, a climate activist from Uganda, has an important message for leaders at #COP26. She's sharing how climate change continues to impact the lives and livelihoods of the world's most vulnerable, and why it's important that leaders commit to taking climate action now.

This is what she had to say.

We want to make the UK the best place in the world for people with a learning disability to live happy and healthy lives. 👍

But the results from our recent survey show us that there is still a way to go. 😮

That’s why we’re encouraging as many people as possible to sign our pledge to stand up for the rights of people with a learning disability. ❤️

People like Saskia Granville. 👋

Saskia has a job as a football coach for 9 and 10 year-old girls every Saturday morning.

Since becoming a coach, both Saskia and her family have seen a big difference in her confidence and communication skills. 💪

Saskia says: ‘'If you just talk to us and get to know us, you’ll see just how much we can do.' 💬

Sign the pledge and tag a friend to get them to do the same: mencap.org.uk/pledge ✍

How much do you know about learning disability?

As part of our 75th anniversary, we commissioned some research about what people think a learning disability means. 📝

We want to make the UK the best place in the world for people with a learning disability to live happy and healthy lives. 👍

But the results from the survey show us that there is still a way to go. 😧

That’s why we’re encouraging as many people as possible to sign our pledge and stand up for the rights of the 1.5 million people with a learning disability in the UK. 🙋‍♀️
