Subscriber clappingsoul Posted November 16, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 16, 2017 Yeah ticketmaster was terrible this morning. Got 2 $106 seats in section 322, which seems both to the back and high. Has anyone sat around there before?
Subscriber drmwvr Posted November 16, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 16, 2017 My wife and I are coming in from Dallas and plan to stay the weekend. Any hotel recommendations nearby? We plan to use Uber for transportation so it would be great if someone could let me know if that is an issue in Nashville. Thanks!
Subscriber blueandgoldfan Posted November 16, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 16, 2017 (edited) I sat behind the stage and nosebleeds for one of the shows in NY for i&e, the good news is you'll be able to see the stage just fine, there arent any obstructions in the way. Bad news is youll miss the big giant tv screen. If I remember correctly they did have a smaller tv up so you could at least see their faces. I sat next to some fun people, so it was a good time. You'll be grand! * In response to chappingsoul Edited November 16, 2017 by blueandgoldfan
Subscriber PopArtist Posted November 20, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 20, 2017 Since they don't hit my area until June, this show and St. Louis are my out of town shows - scored a GA for this show on the Citi presale. Had been on the fence because hotels are so expensive but I found something a bit more reasonable, and I hope to get someone to share to split the cost. Subscriber tialessa Posted November 20, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 20, 2017 (edited) Wow - a lot of areas are locked out to Citi holders even though it's now the general onsale. BOO! Not happy with the only other options. ----------- Wow - twice I picked a ticket, hit purchase, & was told I was beat out. Seriously Ticketmaster, you can't hold something for 30 seconds to load the purchase page????? ------ 30 minutes later I was finally successful for what was willing to pay, but damn, that was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Subscriber nathand Posted November 20, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 20, 2017 (edited) Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had trying to get tickets in my life. Will never be a member of the U2 site and fan club again after seeing them six times. I really want my money back. This entire ticket selling experience just seems biased to the scalpers and the ultra rich. I was unable to get tickets in the presale and the supposed general public onsale. You have lost a fan. Subscriber LIBRARYLADY Posted November 21, 2017 Subscriber Share Posted November 21, 2017 I'll be taking my niece to her first U2 concert! I'm in Wisconsin & she's in Tennessee - so this is the first chance we've had to see a show together. Bought the parking pass - not sure about locations & traffic. Hope to find another ticket to take my brother as well - no luck today.
kenlad
well nice to see the Ticketmaster verified fan thing worked well to stop the scalpers. I registered to get tix but was on the "waitlist" never got to buy tickets, but then today on the 21st there are loads of tix for sale at the usual mega over inflated prices. Thanks for nothing! Subscriber danalhf Posted January 17, 2018 Subscriber Share Posted January 17, 2018 I will be there from Vermont. Wish they'd announce another date. Between flights and hotel it would make it a bit more worth it.
