Subscriber dmway Posted June 16, 2018 Author Subscriber Share Posted June 16, 2018 A change of pace today... I am also a fan of music before the 80s revolution - the occasional trouble with that is that many of those bands no longer are together and performing (or, in a worst case scenario, are already playing gigs in heaven). So, for the music of bands I just referred to, you need a high-quality cover band to pick up the slack. Tonight I am seeing such a band. In fact, they are so impressive that tonight will be the third time I will have seen them from the end of December 2017 onward. Yes, they recreate the music that well. The source band is a very famous one: Genesis - however, the band I am seeing tonight center on the music of the band before the trio-version of the 80s. They play the music before Genesis became chart-toppers, when Peter Gabriel was still the lead singer and also when Phil Collins had just taken over the vocal spot, long before he became a household name. They are called "The Genesis Show" and they are amazing! I can't wait! ?

Yeah, I had tickets for the Wembley show too. Roger Taylor came on when I saw them at Milton Keynes 3 years ago too, as well as John Paul Jones from Led Zep! I wish I'd been at the one you were at though - Biffy are an amazing band, and although I've seen them 4 times on their own shows and in festival headline slots, them and the Foos on the same bill must have been huge!
