With big hits in a band's career, sometime bands can burn out on playing them live. However, U2 always plays "Pride" and WOWY wonderfully - I'm glad that they can still connect with their original feeling.

Some preshow reading. Not meant to be a downer, but a look at survivors just over 5 years out from the attacks.  https://www.dw.com/en/bataclan-attack-how-survivors-cope-with-the-trauma-5-years-on/a-5

From October to Streets... perhaps the heart and soul of the european i+e shows... quite intense...

Best segment in the history of music. Fight me.

We still miss you, Stephen Hawking...

I wonder how many scientists have collaborated with both U2 and Pink Floyd? I bet there is only one.

The Innocence Experience concert I went to at the O2 in London was the best U2 concert I have seen, simply because the sound quality was incredible.

Maybe we saw the same concert!

I completely agree, they are still faithful to those songs, they have lost nothing over the years.

I cannot remember without checking which night I went to. Do you remember the night you went to?

I love that they did the video tribute for the victims in Paris in a similar way to how they honored the victims of 9/11 during the later "Elevation" tour shows. Quite apropos.

We miss you, Paul McGuinness. Thank you for all that you did early on and later in U2's career.

Lovely (mini) cover of Paul Simon's "Mother And Child Reunion", one of my favorite songs from his solo career.
