Subscriber Lapa Posted March 2, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted March 2, 2009 Sounds great! Will you be able to go see them? And remember, although it's snowing right now, Spring is getting closer all the time! Speaking of interesting U2 news. I got a job offer from Dublin today!:-) A friend of mine is working for Oracle in Dublin and he sent me a message on Facebook about a job he thought could be interesting to me. But I still need moredetails before I can start thinking about it seriously. Perhaps not really U2 related news, but on the other hand they are a Dublin band!;-)
Izzy2u
wow how exciting! I believe this show will be offered here as well as NYC so I think 20 people from each state, I don't know how many states areinvolved. If it';s The Paradise it holds 650 people. The orepheum would be a more likely venue or maybe the Opera House? But they are sayinga *club* not avenue. House Of Blues is already booked. Interesting Job offer in Dublin. It would be weird to me to move to a foriegn country for a job...but

Subscriber Lapa Posted March 2, 2009 Subscriber Share Posted March 2, 2009 Well, as I said I need to get more details before I really will start considering the offer. The job is Dublin based but I guess it involves lots of travelingin Scandinavia because if I understood it right it has to do with Oracle's HRM (Human Resource Management) in Scandinavia and knowledge in Scandinavianlanguages was seen as very important. I've studied together with the person who mentioned this opportunity to me and he's pretty much in charge of the employment procedure. But as I said Ineed more background info before I'll start considering the offer. But who knows, it might be a good opportunity to work abroad for a while and that'ssomething that I've wanted to do for a while.
