  1. Hi all, I couldn't find an existing thread on this so here it goes. Myself and few friends received the email below stating that we are not eligible for the presale because we used our codes for the JT tour, therefore we need to resubscribe, BUT I just renewed my account on November first and it shows "Setup Complete" for the presale. I called, and the rep insisted that these emails went out in error and that as long as our account info shows "Setup Complete" that we are eligible for the presale. I just don't get it. Did anyone else get this email, and did you call in? Again, this email implies that I need to pay another $50 when I just paid $50 for the same subscription a few days ago. I just don't buy that these went out in error. I'm worried that if I don't pay yet again that I won't get a presale code. Renew Your Membership to Access Presale U2 announced their highly anticipated eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour last week and we don’t want you to miss out on getting first access to presale tickets. Your U2.com Subscription is currently not eligible for presale access because you have used your presale access code to purchase tickets on the recent Joshua Tree Tour. In order to participate in the upcoming U2.com Verified Subscriber Presale, you must renew your membership AND complete the Setup now. RENEW NOW
  2. Nope. It lets me put that VIP package right into my cart and takes me to the payment page. it's this way for several cities, so there has to be some reason behind it.
  3. Still trying to understand why so many US shows (Boston + Chicago among them) have the Red Zone + VP Packages unlocked on Ticketmaster. Just go to http://www.ticketmaster.com/u2-the-joshua-tree-tour-2017-foxborough-massachusetts-06-25-2017/event/01005195943F2214?artistid=736365&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1&bba=1and click on the drop down and you will see. This means that a code was not needed (at least on the desktop site) to buy tickets during the presale for which you were supposed to need a presale code (duh.) Apparently this is why RZ sold out so quickly. Mods, have you passed this information onto the powers that be? Any explanation as to why it was done this way? Why did those of us who only wanted RZ pay for a U2.com membership when it wasn't even needed to buy tickets? Tour after tour there is always some debacle with U2.com and ticketmaster, but this is a new one. Screenshots below
  4. Yup. If you look at the drop downs you will see that for some cities there are lock symbols next to RZ + VIP packages, and in other cities (like Boston, Miami and Toronto and probably more) there are not.
  5. Reading about how RZ tickets were available in Europe without a code yesterday, it just dawned on me that the same thing is happening in Boston. My friends and I (4 of us) were shut out of Red Zone for Boston yesterday morning right at 9 EST during the Red Hill Pre-Sale and then again today for the Wires presale. Now I understand why. Still, even right at this moment, you can search for Red Zone tickets without a code. There are non available of course which makes complete sense now. You can even buy the "VIP Gold" fan package without a code. I have a screenshot, but can't figure out how to post it here. Can someone from U2.com explain this to us? Meaning, please explain why and how this happened and what they are going to do for those of us who were shut out of RZ because of it? I'm checking a few other cities and it seems it's the same in Miami: no code needed for RZ or VIP Gold packages! What did we all pay $50 for year after year?
  6. I know this is a long shot, but I would like to trade my 2 GA's for 7/27 @ MSG for the same for the final show at MSG on 7/31. Please PM me if interested. Thanks!
