  1. This may have been posted before but I found this on youtube....http://www.youtube.com/wa...aNnw&feature=related And the reply video......
  2. I was looking at wikipedia. I looked at the amount of bands that have covered U2 songs - and there is a lot of cover songs. To my surprise I came across this. Before a band releases a cover song on an album, do U2 approve the song or do they say, well if you do this or that it will sound better?
  3. Here in the US......The price you see is the price you don't pay. Been to may concerts, ticket value is $20 add tax add venue charge add door entry charge for example....seen Spearhead in Orlando back in May, tickets was $15 - to get this price you had to buy 4 tickets. Overall charge arfter everything mentioned above it came to approx $80. Even buying things from The Dollar store sucks. The Dollar store should be renamed...The Dollar store plus tax store!!!! Anyhoo I could rant all day....
  4. Forget Beautiful day, forget No Line on the Horizon, forget Magnificent open up with Out of Control followed by I Will Follow then onto Magnificent...get the crowd jumping!!!!
  5. Does Bono and his businessmen own Facebook? Thought I read a report that he was buying more shares, to increase his hold to over 50%?
  6. Thanks for the input guys and dolls!! As I said they keep asking to go to a concert, but to pay $60 a tix is a bit steep for kids who might get restless. Thanks again
  7. [quote name=mick james]What's not to like?? How did you get a picture of my wife?
  8. I've been to alot of concerts, my first concert was U2 at Celtic Park(paradise), Glasgow. I was 17 years. Since moving to US, I've got two girls(6 and 4) and more concerts. Everytime the wife and I go to a concert, they keep asking if they can come. What better way to go to your first concert, to see U2. I know it will be loud, I know it's going to be busy plus a few extra people. I know Bono can swear, but when you think about it he rearly does!! We all know the music is fantastic, we all know that U2 put on a show. I want to take them but...it may be the Scottishness inside me...I don'
  9. From what I've been reading over the past few weeks is, all dates in NA HAVE been rescheduled. An announcement was supposed to be made a couple of weeks ago but decided not to. They are now waiting until the European leg starts, after a few shows, and IF Bono's back is holding up, all NA dates will be announced. They will also announce Australia, Asia and South America along with additional dates in NA.

[quote name='Janette B wrote: Nancy_Hanks wrote: mcgurk76']My Florida summer consists of the following, get up have breakies, get washed, get ready, leave the house, sweat like a pig as I walk 10 feet to the car, drive to work, sweat like a pig again as I walk the remainder to work, work, go home, cut the grass, rains all night, grass grows 2 inches overnight...and repeat...it's nice to have some rain, hate cutting the grass though. And I thought Texas was bad. Sounds like you need a vacation! We were just in California (Sequoia, Yosemite, Bay area) and I was cold far more often t
