  1. I read somewhere that's it to be a full band performance. Not sure why they'd be at the Maida Vale studio just for an acoustic set.
  2. Maybe it's just me.....but that interview made me sad. Same here And here. Good thing I didn't tweet my question about Principle Management never responding to faxes
  3. [quote name='Max Tsukino wrote: enigmatic2 wrote: Anjana'] He seemed a bit down to me I sensed that too. It seemed to me that he either hated the film, or Davis Guggenheim. or both.I don't think that was the case... I would think that the thing he hated was to feel exposed... Well, sure, but I just can't recall him actually praising the film or director *at all*. Hope you're right!
  4. [quote name='Anjana wrote: Max Tsukino wrote: daltonsisters']WOW! It was emotional to hear Bono speak that final truth about where he feels the band is right now - the edge of irrelevance. But I know out of that will come renewal once again. Still, did anyone find that moment tough? Yet beautiful? probably the most "open" (for lack of a better/accurate word) I've seen Bono in a lot of time... they - or at least him - must be doing a lot of thinking these days... 5. This interview really feels slightly awkward to me.
  6. "I try to be a perfectionist, but I'm not quite there yet." Great line!
  7. Bono seems very down on himself in this interview.
  8. It comes and goes. Seems to be OK at the moment
  9. Let's hope they've got past the crap before the new album is released
  10. It could well have been technically, logistically or legally impossible to organise. It might have been that, for whatever reason, they simply didn't want to stream it. But that's not really the point. Principle Management offered some hope by telling us to fax them, and yet they (and U2.com/LiveNation) deliberately chose to completely ignore the hundreds - possibly thousands - of faxes, forum posts, tweets and phone calls. That's pretty unforgivable for any organisation, let alone one representing U2, a band famed for its commitment to fans.
  11. Sounds like that radio station has finished its pre-show U2 special. Oh well, too much to hope for I guess.
  12. hmmm, I think they're just broadcasting a build-up to it with a U2 mix. If it was a live relay I'm pretty sure they'd make more of it. Gonna stay listening anyway in case I'm wrong . Thanks for the link!
  13. [quote name='Redhead11 wrote: danielsentana wrote: Redhead11']I guess on a positive note faxzero.com got a lot of business. And opened way to new customers! I for one Either way, the band would have to be deaf and blind not to get word of this. I would say the band are generally fairly far removed from what goes on at U2.com, and rely on whoever they hire to run the site to represent them well. Even setting aside the live stream, that's not happening at the moment. Principle Management, on the other hand, must surely have got the message by now. It's very perplexing.
  14. That's true. Every cloud... They might be getting quite a bit more business in the next few days if this deafening silence from U2.com continues. Maybe PM will change their number
  15. [quote name='mich40 wrote: hnicolaidesk wrote: aussiegirl']it's not too late........they still have plenty of time IF they wanted to do it.......which it seems like they may not want to I don't think it's a matter of 'want to' or not... maybe they just didn't have enough time to pool the necessary resources. However, all the folks involved should have realized months ago that this concert would be highly coveted and should have ensured a live stream then... Connie there's still time... believe. And Sister - thanks for the Tom Cruise/Bob Seger! Very mu
