Just got a phone call from work and they are scheduling vaccinations for the staff. I'm getting the J&J shot next Thursday. Unless the boss is pulling an outrageous April Fool's prank that is. 🤔

That's the one I would like to get. One dose and you are protected!

Having talked to all South Americans that I have contact with, we learned something in common: all of us who have a subscription haven’t gotten the recent gifts. Besides, Dmway has asked on-site if anyone from South America had gotten any of the gifts over the past few years; the only one that seemed to have reached some people in SA was the JT singles collection.

Same here, i´ve never received the i+e cd´s for last year suscription. I´ve e-mailed many times without any response. This year i´ve renew my suscription with the dvd and the cd´s again (because of the special offer suscription), i´ve got the dvd, but again not the i+e cd´s, no answers....

Have anybody got ever an answer fron U2.com/help?. It sucks how bad this service works. They´ve got my money but i don´t have me suscription gift, and i´m a member for many years

Please. comment your experiences with this service

Are you from South America too?

Most of the people I have contact with from South America haven't gotten their gifts since 2018.

Hi andry! Yes, I travelled to Santiago, Chile. I was number 54 entering the stadium :) and was lucky to be in the front line on the tree stage.

I asked that because I thought that maybe we had seen the same concert in São Paulo.

Hola! My name is Armando and I am from Lima, Peru, I just wanted to say hi to everyone here and keep sharing experiences involving our beloved band.

I have been a fan since 2004, I was 14 (I am 30 now), and finally got to see them in concert in 2017 when the Joshua Tree Tour landed in South America.

As a Peruvian fan, it would be a dream come true to see U2 play in my country one day (they have been so close!).

    See you around!

Welcome, Armando. I'm from South America too.

May I ask you where you saw the 2017 concert?

I found one of the archived versions of the placeholder for the site here:

It's adorable to see how retro it looks now! 😄

It's funny to say that a "site" is retro, but that's the truth!

    Happy birthday, U2.com.

By the way, today is AB's anniversay. Happy birthday too!

    It's true!

I can't remember the exact date it launched, BUT it was after the release of ATYCLB and before the majority of the tickets went on-sale online for the "Elevation" tour. Leg 1 of that tour went on sale in January 2001 - so, somewhere between now and sometime in early January next year, this site went live for the first time 20 years ago!

U2 were a bit late in developing an official website, which was odd because they had always been (and have mostly continued to be) in the vanguard in regard to new technology. They may have waited to see how other bands were doing them, and/or they may have waited because the fan-run sites were numerous and good back then (which makes atU2.com's recent passing all the more poignant).

In any case, Happy 20th Birthday, U2.com! 😎

Wow! Can you believe it's that old? One of my biggest memories of it was back in 2006 when the site was launching a word a day during a week. We had to connect the words, guess the "lyric extract" and send them. Then they would have a draw of the people who did it right. The winnner would win a trip to Hawaii to see a U2 concert. I did not win despite my efforts.

Can anybody tell me if I remembering it right?

I'd transmit my memories of it directly to you from brain-to-brain, if I could. It was a great tour.

I'm glad you got to see them a bit later. 🎸 At least we do have the two shows from that tour.

    Thank you!
