  1. http://www.ticketmaster.ie/venueartist/197033/736365 2 extra dates have been added Friday 10th/Sat 11th Nov Bit annoyed as i would of loved a weekend night but nothing i can do and have to do with Dublin 2
  2. ticket is price level 2 (€111) and it doesent say limited view like the €39 and €81 ones ?? still a long time til the gig but something to look forward too
  3. how restricted will the view be from Block E ?? been there a few times but stage setups were much different
  4. got 1 seated ticket for Tues 6th Nov Block E Row 24 (€118.85), sadly it will have a limited view of the big screen but still a decent enough seat without paying over €200 3rd time seeing the band
  5. 9am or 10am start ??? It says 10am on the TM page but 9am on the front page here ???
  6. what's the exact pre sale link for 2morrow morning ??
  7. only got the chance too log in now, what a show it was last saturday, one of the best ive ever seen Prob wont play Ireland again til 2019
  8. For all of us going Enjoy the show and stay safe. My 2nd u2 show and first in Croke Park My train arrives in Dublin just after 13.10 on Saturday and i plan on heading too Murreys bar on O Connell Street too watch the Hurling match between Clare and Tipp (throwing in at 3pm) and then head onto Croke Park. Looking forward too seeing Noel Gallagher too
  9. so for all of us succesful where are you sitting/standing for the show Im in the Hogan Lower Section 333 Row Q (E201.75 bought the Collectors Ticket in error ah well) cant wait for the show
  10. What's the actually web page for the Croke Park pre sales ???
  11. Nervous as anything for the sale 2morrow morning for the Dublin show Not a fan of that matching pictures thing on TM and this gig will have unreal demand TM god's All I want is 1 stand ticket please lol
  12. Indeed! Judging by the Dublin seat map, that's what they were aiming for Can we assume pitch 1 and 2 is only stadium entrance per comments over the graphic- and not location of your GA ticket (section 1 or 2) ? Confusing to me AFAIK A few sections of the stands may be closed due to the stage layout normally sections 301/302, 336/335,701/702 and 736/735 and 1 or 2 sections connecting the Davin too the Hogan and Cusack stands (The speaker towers would be blocking the view of the stage)
  13. my predictions for when the JT tour is finished Songs Of Experience to come out in the Autumn and then the Joshua Tree tour will head down under for a few shows in Jan/Feb 2018 and the SOE world tour will commence in 2018 and will run up until the middle of 2019 ???
  14. ill stay on safe side and not share my code thanks for the advice guys sitting down with a few cans watching all the videos i took from the 2015 2nd Dublin show, cant wait for this
  15. Looking like i will only be getting 1 seated ticket in the presale So after i hopefully get my ticket could i pass my presale code too someone else and they can get 3 tickets with it ????
  16. I wonder what the difference in sections between the E186 and E110 seated tickets for Croke Park Going solo to the show and so will be only getting the 1 seated ticket on Weds hopefully (obv ill take whatever i get but first preference will be for the Hogan Stand as its easier accisable than the Cusack Stand)
  17. delighted with the gig news going too try my hardest to get a seated ticket for the Croke Park show. Saw Noel Gallagher the HFB support RHCP in Croke Park in 2012 and i quite enjoyed them, its an extra treat and it will be my first U2 Croke Park concert (Only previous u2 show was Dublin 2 in 2015) The only downside is that the tickets are expensive (E186 for good seats, E110 and E100 for other seats), aiming for a Hogan Stand ticket as its much easier to access compared to the Cusack Stand on Wednesday
  18. Strong rumours of Croke Park shows https://www.rte.ie/entertainment/2017/0108/843464-u2-expected-to-announce-croke-park-dates-monday/ http://m.independent.ie/entertainment/music/music-news/u2-tipped-for-croke-park-for-joshua-tree-anniversary-tour-35350037.html
  19. hopefully they play Ireland and the tour is announced soon
  20. love if they played Croke Park and the new stadium in Cork hope they announce all the tour dates at the same time (Mon 9th Jan is the latest rumour of an annoucement) Dont think the tour will be as large as the I&E tour in terms of venues but i hope they play Ireland (as stupid as that sounds as there an irish band)
  21. love if they played the New stadium in Cork they played the old Pairc Ui Choamh on the original Joshua Tree tour in 1987 (the last show on the euro leg)
  22. on the Joshua tree tour in 1987 they played a mixture of Arenas and Stadiums starting off with an American Arena tour in April/May, A European Stadium tour in the Summer and A North American Stadium/Arena tour in the Autumn. A similar enough format for a 30th Anniversary tour may be on the cards In Ireland they played 2 dates in Croke Park, 1 date in Belfast (Kings Hall) and 1 date in Cork (Páirc Uí Chaoimh) on that tour With Croke Park having 2 concert slots remaining for 2017 and the redeveloped Pairc Ui Chaoimh opening next summer could we possibly see dates for u2 in those venues ???
  23. Have a feeling the Joshua Tree anniversary tour will only hit the big cities like London, Paris, New York, LA, Sydney, Tokyo etc. You'd Expect Dublin to get a show but the guys could shock us and maybe play a few intimate shows in the Olympia or some other small venue ??. If they are playing the album in full will they do it backwards and start with Mothers Of the Disappeared and end with WTSHN ???. Would be odd if they followed the exact track listing of the album and done the hits first What an album it is
  24. that be pretty cool. Id say it might be an arena tour again although Croke Park has 2 concert slots left for 2017, Aviva Stadium has 1 slot left
  25. very happy were getting a DVD/Blu Ray release. even though i have the RTE broadcast recorded i perfer to have a physical blu ray of it Theres a backstage feature on the DVD but i dont think it will be the Documentary (hopefully im wrong)
